In this Filipino car review, we take a tour of the 2022 Ford Ranger Wildtrak 4x4 and see what changes and improvements were made to Ford's lifestyle midsize pickup truck. The 2023 Ford Ranger WIldtrak 4x4 is the current top-spec pickup truck in the local Ford Ranger line up, since the new Ranger Raptor has yet to arrive in the Philippines. The Ranger Wildtrak 4x4 gets the same biturbo diesel engine from the outgoing generation, and the same transmission. The 2022 Ford Ranger Wildtrak 4x4 is the top spec Ford Ranger in the Philippines today.

There's an auto hold feature which you can turn on from the infotainment system.
Hope that Ford already addressed the transmission issues that plagued the previous model.
i would be happy even if they only addressed the infamous intake hose that always rips in the previous rangers
Hi, any negative issues about next gen Raptor 2023?
I think they fixed it in the 2021 and 2022 models. But I still dont trust their new 10 speed transmission. Still too young. I prefer their proven 6 speed transmission
Yung Luxe Yellow is so good to the the Wildtrak. But sadly it's not available at lower trims. Tawag ko diyan yema yellow.
Yes disappointed is the right word for the 2.0 l bi turbo, i own the out going wildtrak i love it from the moment i got it from the dealership until now 6+ yrs strong, that being said i am still planning to get the new ranger in either wildtrak or raptor as long as it has the v6 engine

I thought it was gonna be the 2.3L Ecoboost inline 4 petrol.
Unfortunately, no hood lift unlike in the F-150 and Explorer. But maybe it would make the Ranger too heavy if there's a hood lift.

Ford has released the second generation Ranger Raptor last February 22 for both new 3.0L Twin-Turbo EcoBoost V6 Gas and a carry over 2.0L EcoBlue I4 Bi-Turbo Diesel engines. The Australian-spec Ranger Raptor gets 392hp and 583Nm of torque. The European-spec Ranger Raptor on the other hand, it only pushes 282hp and 491Nm of torque because of EU emissions standards.

The upcoming Philippine-market 2023 Ranger Raptor will be either new EcoBoost V6 Gas or retaining EcoBlue I4 Diesel?

For sure dahil yan sa target market. Pag nilabas nila yung V6 alam nila 50-50 mag cclick sa tao yun dahil sa price ng diesel.

it's offered on countries that uses pickup trucks for its TOWING capabilities. If offered here what Filipinos will do? = use it for racing (resing resing) in the city.
