Derek, never feel you need to apologize. You are doing a job which involves the livelihood of the goats and you. Appreciate your video journey!! Be safe!
you are a great man with a wonderful family. Your goats are beautiful and precious. All that driving must be exhausting so be careful. Drive carefully. These people should meet you half way.
Derek, you did a great job videoing . When you’re in a place like you are right now…. Just do what you can do…. Do your best! Get some rest and safe travels bub. Psalm 91 over you for divine protection. You know I’m thankful for your time and care to make these videos for the rest of us. Lot of work and no one to help. Let this be an encouragement to you . All the works of your hands are blessed and everything you put your hand to shall prosper. Drive safe…. Again thank you for the video.❤ blessings from OKC.
I could fall in love real quick with your adorable goats. God was having fun when he created their eyes.. just comical but gorgeous eyes. I love the Blue eyes.😅
The interstate highways across the Missouri River are now closed due to flooding. Hopefully you can make it back across without issue. Safe travels!!! Derek, you are doing great with all that you do!!!
I have that exact same adjustable step you were ising as a milking stool in my truck when im between jobs driving uber to help elderly persons into my vehicle.
Hey there this tuscan kurtrina I started your video and I was amazed how much you and your family do to ❤ and love your 🐐. I enjoy your video ❤tuscan kurtrina ❤❤
Derek it's so nice to travel along with you and your beautiful goats! ! Think you're getting up North NY I guess... We're just across the border 😃! Say Hi to Crystal and the kids from Montréal, Québec, Canada! 🇨🇦
U be safe out there. It's amazing how much it can wear you out when you need to so much BESIDES driving. Love traveling with you, in areas as a trk drvr, been there numerous times. You would be a curiosity milking goats, worth a picture, interesting enough for a chat. Your doing Grrreeeaaat Derek, keep on rollin
Hey Derick. So I ran across another goat farmer offering help to make them behave. Use a squirt bottle, spray them in the face, to turn the unruly goats back. Make a hiss like noise as you do it. Afterwards the hiss noise acts like a warning. His goats, even the bucks backed down. He does training for newbies and milks 14 full size goats 2 x a day.
LOL 1) you milk better than me - I am getting better - but make a mess. 2) When Bob and I moved we had our parrots, one insisted on staying on my shoulder. When we pulled into the gas station, I had to go pay because the pay at pump was broke - let me tell you the looks I got with Chumley talking to everyone on my shoulder lol - I can see them looking at you like they looked at us. by time I paid for my gas and Bobs he had 4 people around his truck wanting to play with his parrots while my parrots in my car screamed the whole time. It was comical.
This was actually probably still in early May or mid-May. The videos are kind of behind but they usually don’t go on long trips with the goats in summer and they usually go at the end of spring
Derek - I so enjoy watching and listening to you delivering the babies to their new owners. And how smart was that putting the new owners name on their collars! I bet that was Crystals idea?
Hi Derek you did a good job milking the goat's I'm from broxbourne Hertfordshire it's extremely hot here have a safe journey god bless you always ❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Hi Derek. Milking the older girls that are going to g to new homes. Crystal said some of the girls were being sold. I just wasn’t sure which ones. That is too bad that the milk has to be thrown out. I see bad weather ahead. Have a safe trip and a good rest this night of the video.❤️👍
Didn't you know goats milk on you is good for you 😂 Derek you are doing great. ❤ Love to see your travels ☺️ you are doing a great job on milking them I would take pictures of a guy named Derek milking a goat and make a frame out of it but what's best is you should make up a song about that and or that you got milk on you 😂❤
Great Work Derek. I know it is Exhausting forU. Why is Darin Not woth U like Before. Olease be Careful, I can imagine it is Exhausting, but those Babies r Pretty. Keep Pushing and be Cognizant at all times.
They have a milking machine back at their ranch. Cleaning and sterilizing a milking machine while on the road would be near impossible. And even if there was a way to do it, cleaning it would waste hours of valuable travel time. Look up the video they did a few years ago showing the detailed daily cleaning process for the milk machine.
@@etakjam1536 They aren't keeping the milk! Maybe just soap and water, but I guess they wouldn't save time? Just an idea. We take our solar generator out with us when we want coffee when we are using our side by side. 😊 Just thought maybe! 🤔 Portable milking machines can be charged up and then separated from the base! Maybe it would hold the charge long enough? Just an idea. Trying to help! 😍
@@robintyer1699 It takes at least an hour to clean their milking machine and it would require a generator to run it. The milk machine has lots of tubes that need cleaning with pipe cleaners and she soaks the parts in a sink full of water with bleach to kill bacteria. I understand your thought process, but no it wouldn't save time when he is only milking 4 goats and tossing the milk out.
@@etakjam1536 I guess you have to weigh out the benefits! The portable milking machine we have you use the machine to clean the tubes with a bucket and the water solution method you want to use. It takes no time at all. If you charge up your solar generator before you leave and the milking machine , it lasts a while. I just seen him struggling with milk running down his arms. Solar panels for the solar generator could be mounted on top too if they plan on transporting goats for a while!
If I was traveling and saw a man milking a goat like you are doing I would have to stop and take pics and chat! Loving your travel talks!
Unfortunately he has a schedule to keep.... But I hear you
I would stop and ask if I could try.
Definitely would stop and talk
Me too, thinking the same thing 😅
Derek you made it look so simple taking the milking stand apart, you're an amazing man, Crystal and the family are so lucky to have you
You really needed a helper on this trip. Doing it all by yourself...driving all over the place, milking and feeding AND videoing? Superman!
Safe Travels, Derek. Pace yourself. You have a long road ahead of you🙏🏻
Derek, never feel you need to apologize. You are doing a job which involves the livelihood of the goats and you. Appreciate your video journey!! Be safe!
Derek you are so funny, even when you are getting milk everywhere. Praying your travels are safe and uneventful!
I commend you for not only driving as much as you do, plus milking them, Crystal you have a wonderful husband. You have some very beautiful goats.
All your goats always have the sweetest disposition❤❤❤🕊🕊🕊✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
Thank you for taking us with you. I am enjoying the scenery and the goats. Gods blessings on you and the goats. Be safe. Hi from CA.
Dereck rest if you have too. What an adventure! Long and tiring for sure. Safe trip with those babies! God Bless! 🇨🇦🙏🏻

Derek you have a tight schedule and the USA is a big country...but you need to rest too.
Hello from France.
Derek, you are doing a great job, driving, feeding and now milking. Rest and drive safe.

That little silver one is so calm🐐
Amazing what you go thru to deliver your goats. Glad you take such good care of them.

I wonder how many people said "Is that man milking... a goat??" 😂

Wow! You are one dedicated guy! On the road and milking by hand!
Please be careful while you are driving and tired Derek. Take care on the road❤

Thanks for another video of your journeys. I LOVE these!!!!!
Safe travels!

Dont know how you do all that driving by your self but stay safe out there on that road prayers everything goes well
I do hope you don’t run into too much of the flooding in Iowa
Hi, Great day of traveling! Sure wish someone could go with you to help with driving and chores! But it is what it is! Great videos!
Hang in there Derek sounds like you will get practice.
I can't imagine these poor babies in the HEAT😢😢😢😢😢

You need those "horse preg test gloves" vets use, to milk the goats!
Fantastic !!!! 🤗❤️👍🙋🏻♀️
Thank you for sharing this with us 😊
God bless you 🙏🙏👍
Hopefully the flooding in Iowa doesn’t affect your travels ❤️
Great thumbnail!

Wonder how many passersby will get home and tell their families and friends. Hey guess what I saw?!

Be careful get sleep
Stay safe and I hope the weather holds out for you. Love the travel videos ❤.
Heck I would have stopped and helped milk.

Yeah even with bottle babies the logistics of saving milk on the road is a lot to think about.

I wonder what goat milk tastes like. 😊
You are doing a great job I am saying a 3 for you to have a safe trip
Bless their hearts 😢 they don't want to leave home 😢.
Do they LIKE milked?
Where'd you get that fold up stool? I NEED that so bad
Harbor freight, possibly an automotive store.
Have you ever considered bringing one of the kids with you to help out? You have a boatload of furries this time!!!
What are you doing with the milk?
use a dog bowl that can't spill water all over it will help you
👍👍👍😊😊😊😊🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Aww you're getting rid of the big mommas
Can you use a hay net for the goats so they can't waste it? I know horses can use them not sure about goats. Just a thought.
Hay nets?
These can be very dangerous for goats as an entanglement risk.
@@SageandStoneHomestead Never knew that, thanks. I am a horse person. Nets are our best friends for cutting wastage.
Why selling so many and how do you decide which ones?
Maybe you can invest in a solar generator and a milking machine 😊

You should have taken one of the kids with you to help with milking and feeding. You are trying to do too much on your own and that’s a big job.
