I LOVE this quilt. I have batiks that I want to use up and donate as baby quilts and I think this is a great idea for that. I think black-and-white prints for backgrounds with the batiks would make a CUTE quilt. Thanks, Sharon, I love your ideas and designs. I made the Irish Chain and it is one of the prettiest quilts I’ve ever made! I will post a photo on your blog when I finish the binding.
I can't wait to make this quilt. We do a Shop Hop the end of July and the first of August and this is going to be my Shop Hop quilt. Last year I did your pattern, Bloom. I love you techniques and videos.
you probably dont care but if you are stoned like me atm then you can watch pretty much all the latest movies on instaflixxer. Have been streaming with my brother for the last couple of days :)
I would like to make the half circle units in the smallest size possible utilizing the ruler. What size would I cut the background and half circle fabrics to do so and what size finished block would that yield?
I have a question. Why doing half circles you eliminate the seam allowance at the bottom of the half circle? Don't you need it? I understand why you do it for the side.
I love watching you make your blocks…especially the half circles! You truly do make it look easy! Thank you so much!

I loved what you've done with the light background! I also like the larger size half circles and flying geese. I'm going to try it!!! 💞💞💞💞💋
Yea! thank you. I'd love to see what you make 😊

How do you calculate for different size blocks?
