Oh, thank you for teaching me how to put the pieces together, especially with extra 1/4 inch on piece A and C. That makes so much sense now. I'm forever fiddling with the pieces trying to piece them together, but the end results were always twisted. It's precise that 1/4 inch makes so much sense.
Great video about sewing this block. I've played with such blocks in the past and did "ok" but I am bound and determined to get a nice flat and square block this time. Enjoy using your patterns and fabric line.
I am an experienced quilter but shy away from curved piecing on the machine. I will try this block for BH3 as I am trying to learn new things but it may be a one of a kind! Thank you for the video.
So is there anywhere this block pattern can be acquired? I've gone to the source you named and it is no longer in existence. A search for this block by any name results in everything but this block. Can someone please point me to a source for this block?
Great tutorial showing the two methods of sewing curved pieces. Loved the mini pin cushion but the pattern for the curved rings is not available for download :(
I can’t remember exactly which brand it is, I bought it once at a trade show. It basically is a bit shorter, clear material and open, so you see if you would produce a pucker and can avoid it in advance
Hi John, yes we decided to remove the link for a business interest conflict with another designer. You can buy a pattern with that designer here ladyharvatine.bigcartel.com/product/january-block
Hi Cathy, I've heard that some of the members in the Moda Blockheads Facebook are friendly helping out each other by sharing their templates of Block WALKING IN CIRCLES
thanks for the pattern hint, Brigitte. That block from her I saw on Pinterest was actually my inspiration. It is so stunning! I drew mine a bit thicker, so it is not exactly the same thing, but this overlapping segments idea of the circles is just great! I’m happy so many people are willing to give this challenging block a try.
Yes, but please don't ask me about the specifics 😂. I once bought it on a trade show and can't remember the name or brand. It is a clear foot, a bit shorter than the usual one, and also open. These features help to see in advance where your seam goes and avoid the puckers.
Hi Julie, I am very sorry, but due to a copyright confusion, which caused more rumors than worth it we took this free download down. If you need to understand, you find all infos on my blog post www.brigitteheitland.de/blog/curved-seams-tutorial-block-33
@@ZenChicQuilting ❤️❤️❤️ the whole thing was so contrived for attention and sympathy from the person that did not have a copyright on the pattern and we live in 2020. Easily triggered people reinventing their own history That block was just a fun sweet block that I have an olden quilt that has that block in it that was made in 1950. Julie, I am so grateful for Brigitte and her enthusiastic fun creativity and for sharing that with whoever wants to try
I hope this makes you more confident with trying your hands on a curved seam :-)
Turned out perfect! Adding the extra 1/4" on the outside edges and trimming worked awesome.
I am with the Moda Blockhead group, thank you so much for this tutorial! The block "Walking in Circles" is lovely!
I had a lot of fun, diving into this tutorial 😉

Thanks. You make it look so easy! I need to practice more.

Thank you very much for that nice feedback!
I love your belly shape and hole shape words. I also get confused with the convex. Lovely pattern. Beautiful tutorial
Reall, isn't it? Convex and concave sounds like the name of a pill or similar to me, 😂
So glad I found your channel
Thank you, mee too ;-)
love

Yes, I am sorry, I had to put that down :(
What foot do you have on your machine?

I cannot find and print Moda blockhead 3 block 33

Are we still able to get the Walking in Circles template?
Hi Cathy, I've heard that some of the members in the Moda Blockheads Facebook are friendly helping out each other by sharing their templates of Block WALKING IN CIRCLES
Thanks for sharing my quilt! If anyone is interested, the pattern is January BOM by Lady Harvatine :)

Is that a special 1/4 foot?

The link to the pattern doesn't seem to be working whether I try it here or from your blog post.
