Its just the old 11 route from the 2000's Seattle had the best bussing in the nation back then. As always the city had to find something to fix, justify the budget and salaries
It'll be filled with homeless drug addicts, and NOBODY WILL WANT TO RIDE IT. Of course Seattle locals just ignore this shit. Thats why Seattle is the third worst city in America
Maybe look into it more. The G-line is a bus rapid transit solution. Basically bringing some of the benefits of Light rail and subways like dedicated lanes, intersection priority so it doesnt have to stop at red lights, quick boarding in and out of all doors, and comfortable stations with high frequency service. Just doing it with buses rather than trains because the bus is cheaper and the corridor might not warrant the big investment in a light rail line. But also, think of it this way. Now the buses arent stuck in traffic anymore, and theres more departures, so more people can go along the corridor quickly thanks to the G-line than could before in private cars with gridlock on the road. Plus firetrucks and ambulances can also use the bus lanes if need be to get to emergencies faster so there's that too.
The nightmare that was the #12 will be over. Will be super easy to get downtown or up to Trader Joes after work for groceries.
Good 👍
Gs up!

Seattle’s speeding ahead in development while y’all MAGA haters are stuck in neutral. Jokes on you!
What's MAGA got to do with anything!! Just another bus for fentanyl users.
power in your fingers! keep the hate alive
All the while, elderly people are being assaulted on your transit system, and you're having to dodge feces on the sidewalk.

$144 million to run 12 blocks? Build community around 12 blocks in the middle of a city. 🙄
I salute your comment
but then where to "invest" that juicy budget
God forbid we make life better for existing neighbourhoods

Yay, the only ones that are going to use this are the wary tourists who come here thinking Seattle is like a normal city... surprise.
