    Within background vocals, how many different techniques of filters and process chains that you use that’s very effective. Like if you could do a video on the top 5 background vocals effects that can be GO Too.

    Here’s a question: do you do a custom vocal chain to accommodate each song? Or does one vocal chain work on everything? Thanks in advance

      One chain can be used you as the engineer would just have to tweak each effect to fit the vocal and typa vibe of the song

      I have a few go to plugins that I use in a lot of my vocal chains, but this changes from time to time, as I'm always looking to improve! But, no I don't use the exact same settings on the plugins for every vocal.

    Nice video wavy 💯 I've learned alot from you. I have a question though that I never realized till today but wanted to know if it's accurate are not. When leaving mic input active on 2 tracks(are any tracks) it add extra volume and keeps everything in the middle are im I just tripping? Just wanted to know what you think cause to me it makes alot of difference when mixing because when mic input is active on all audio tracks every thing just stays in the middle to me.

      What else do you do as an engineer besides mixing the stems isn’t that what an engineer is?

    What about reverb on back ground vocals? How do you get it to mesh up with the main vocal reverbZ

    3:49 could I also in Logic put the Pro Q3 on my background vocal bus/summing stack?

    I usually do two background tracks and a overdub. Wondering if I should try this technique out. Dope idea for layering. How does everyone else do it? How many backups do you have?

    • @illy2066
      @illy2066 2 года назад +1

      I like to stack mine at least 4 times or so. You get a Bigger sound with more vocals.

      I was doing two leads two in and out 1on the first part of each bar the second and the last maybe add lib and background but lately I've been using 1 lead still the two in and out and back ground
