- I wanted to do another run but without hitting the black notes, but I just couldn't do it, sorry. Also, it turns out if you do dodge and attack at the same time, his animations fall apart briefly.
I had to beat this by spamming spacebar with my foot like a drum pedal because I could never get the queue for the power shots.

I think the thing i like most about the Nightmare forms is the fact that when they do a slower string of notes, they move normally, but when they do a faster string, you can see they start to blur because of how fast they move
I think that's a REALLY cool detail
I think it’s especially noticeable with Sans. Since the point of view is MUCH smaller than here

nm cuphead's poses are some of my favorites in fnf mods - they just give off a vibe that he thinks very little of you and doesn't care much if he's losing.

This is the only Nightmare song I’ve been able to beat, and let me say, it goes hard
The fact that it starts off with the Devil dead in his throne shows the kind of hellhole the player got into

There are 2 indicators for an ex shot. First, on cuphead's side, you'll see the shine from his finger that only appears when he shoots. There is also a "whoosh" kind of sound if you know what I mean.

btw the queue for the insta kill shot is a VERY SHORT sound clip of cuphead using an ex attack so thats the queue

It's still reactable, yiu just need to practice on cupheads mechanics, I recommend trying to fc knockout it'll really help you get used to it if your trying to fc devils gambit

I think it’s more like the attack prevents him from focusing on firing his shots, since he has to avoid it.

It looks so fast, but when you actually play it, it seems slower. 2.9 scroll speed is slow to me. But I’ve been playing for a year so that might differ, depends on the size of your screen i guess.
Compare that to the other nightmare songs. Despair's faster than this by 0.1 because the scroll speed is a 3. And Sans is most noticeable with him having the highest scroll speed out of the three with a insane 3.5.
