The quirk was passed onto Number six and I got a feeling that he'll die with it (as I don't see AFO making a grand entrance and taking it back in this story and number six will probably meet his end by the end of vigilantes (That or Tartarus I presume)
Eraserhead might be able to stop Queen bee,s mind control. Also when you think about it queen bee is probably a nomu. On a separate note I would say koichi is a far better character then deku.
Ok, Shigaraki would indeed become the symbol of terror if he even just had Decay and Overclock. That's frighteningly OP there. And I love your ideas for how Deku would come to know the Naruhata Vigilantes, I can definitely see him getting there through Aizawa.

ALL FOR ONE I'M HERE FOR YOUR INTELLIGENCE QUIRK!!!. Jokes aside though with Vigilantes i believe the start of it was not that long after All Might and All For One's prior bout along with his and Sir Nighteye's falling out, so this being shortly after his perceived "death" it'd be pretty likely that Knuckle Duster got very unlucky while also stumbling on what later became a lab for the nomu. His letter to Kouichi I love it having Izuku get caught up investigation wise with Shigaraki's quirks hot water I mean right now Tokoyami'll likely end up in hot water afterwards since he went off to help Hawks against orders. Also Kouichi helping him unlock Float would be fun to look at since he's a speedster and we know Izuku is smart when putting together combinations or sorting out what's not compatible I can see him mixing Float with Black Whip factored with Full Cowl for greater means of mobility.
I wonder if Koichi will get that Oguro was telling him that he can do a super jump he just needs to learn how to land. We know that he can push him self away from an object or cling to it, so what its just a matter of when hes falling he can pull himself towards a building or object at a safe speed he would be able to break his falls. With that being said i cant wait to see Koichi being able to jump around farther or just make his transportation more effective.
He CAN fly (not just jump high) his mum basically just conditioned him to not do so when he was still a little child. Seems like his quirk works in the air too, he just needs to get rid of his mental barriers.
Geez, this chapter got me feelin way sadder than any the actual MHA series chapters tbh Could just be me having a connection with KnuckleDuster with how much he loves his daughter Also the fact even without a Quirk he's such a badass in battle Love your videos as always mate! It's nice to see a well worked on video about Vigilantes. Koichi is such an amazing main character. Might like him better than Deku with how funny and kind Koichi is
“ill equipped to deal with entity’s above common understanding” Well this definitely makes AFO even more scary, how he’s basically a god like entity to any normal person.
Dan Exclaims! Lmao XD sorry my time from within the Undertale fandom has marked me. Thanks for replying though! I appreciate it. Could I have your thoughts on something? Do you think Number 6 could be a lineup of villains with multiple quirks which are compatible with the All for one quirk, or just multiple quirks in general. It’s basically confirmed that having more than 2 quirks is a extremely rare and big achievement. Since we know that 2 quirks is normally the safe zone due to All for ones brother and Wolfram from the first movie and possibly Todoroki since he addresses his quirk as two separate quirks to a extent. People such as number six, Nine and gigantomachia are all described to be able to handle multiple quirks without becoming brain dead. If we consider everyone in the lineup is apart of the doctors experiment. 1-10 are all experiments to do with the capabilities and to perfect the AFO quirk for Shigaraki, since shigaraki seems to be the 10th perfect one. My theory is if you are compatible with the AFO quirk or a extremely weakened version of it, then you can have more than two quirks to a extent. Since the experiments seem to just hand a extremely watered down version of the AFO quirk to them. This might be the thing that makes them capable of holding multiple quirk factors. We already know the AFO quirk can be replicated due to AFO not having his original quirk at cameno when the fought all might. He had already replaced the original one in his body with a copy. Which would be the best possible one at the time. Which explained his limited amount of quirks he had access to, since his quirk was basically fully replicated at that point. Some neat trivia in this chapter I would like to point out too. AFO seems to be using the same quirks that he used to try and fight all might with, this means AFO beat o,clock up with a literal replicated version of his own quirk. This means we know exactly when the doctor could start replicating quirks, this means number 6 could just have a replicated version of O’clock and Shigaraki has the real thing. Although I do feel like knuckle dusters quirk could be a horrible pick for Shigaraki since it’s already described the operation took a massive toll on his brain. O’clock’s weakness deals with the brain and it might be able to actually overload or hinder Shigaraki in someway from overuse. Since it’s described also to take a toll on the brain.
This was the chapter I was looking forward to the most. I just wanted to see what this letter was and what is going to happen next and they didn’t disappoint. I am noticing a trend here as well. What it means to be a hero and how the line between a hero and a Vigilante is only separated via legality. Along with Koichi being called the hero of many people through the manga. And I think that’s where we will see crossover between the 2 mangas. And what Deku has to figure out. What it means to actually be a hero. Last thing, since we saw her, I wanted to see how Tamao was doing. How the daughter of KD is holding up with the disappearance of her dad. And if Soga is still keeping an eye on her or not. Now to me, I wouldn’t mind if it turned out if Tamao and Soga were a thing now, makes a bit of sense with her distaste of her father and she would of view Soga having a similar feeling to connect to. Which loops back to Soga now kind of respecting KD and continue on with his instructions and keep an eye on Pop and Crawler. Out of secret of course.
That is a great point. I feel like both series do explore that topic of what it truly means to be a hero and freedom vs. regulation. It is a great topic, especially since it feels like the series does have pros and cons for all the different sides. It is cool to see how heroes like Eraser or Midnight will look the other way to vigilantes who are genuinely trying to help and haven’t harmed innocent people. At the same time in the main series they are quick to point out how students trying to mount a rescue mission for Bakugo while noble was reckless and could have caused more harm than good. Surprisingly the issues have more nuanced than I would have expected from either series.
@@Jjop017 I do think it might lead to the end of the current Hero Society which will pave way for a new generation to emerge. This war on the Villains Society could lead to this new concept of what heroes are. And the man to drive in this new brand being the greatest hero of all time, Deku, could be an interesting turning point. Now we just need to see a bit more on hero corruption then I think we could get this ball rolling.
So what if Koichi's mom is somehow related to Nana Shimura? If the story went that way now, it may seem like a retcon since it can be seen as a missed opportunity that Koichi's mom didn't say something about her, but it doesn't necessarily disqualify the idea. Too much info at that time might have made this come as less of a twist, so that would be a good enough reason to not foreshadow it beforehand. What would be interesting about it is that while Nana Shimura's grandson got taken in by All for One to become his successor, All Might's successor, Deku, isn't alone in his duty to correct the corruption of that lineage. This also gives the writer an opportunity to expand on the idea that the ability Deku's receiving from Nana Shimura is more like Koichi's, and it would make his introduction to the main story more necessary. After all, we still don't know the relevance in being shown the story of this vigilante hero, when compared to the "ultimate evil" of AfO and Shigaraki. Just an idea of another thread that could tie the vigilante's plot and story to the main story, since as is, it's just a parallel origin/history story for some side characters in the main story.
AFO wasn't destroying that building. O'Clock was investigating it (knocking out the surveillance camera and robot guard first) and stumbled across AFO.
Nice theory. It's definitely possible that deku knows O clock. I mean kerishema had halogram of crimson riot a hero from the distant past. So yeah its possible
Looking back on this & the current arc in MHA, it’d be awesome if we see Bakugo go through & realize what Knuckleduster did after his quirk is destroyed by Shigaraki (a theory, but still a damn good one). It’d be great to explore “what does it mean to be a hero?” for CLASS 1A after the timeskip happens
I have a question bro if you don't mind paying me an ear. Why doesn't Eraser Head cut his hair, in an effort to hide his indicator of using his quirk. Secondly why doesn't he use one eye at a time, instead of both at once this will allow him to rest one Whilst using the other and subsequently switch when needed to. Anyone can you help ?
Because it's hard to fight with one eye closed. Unlike what comic books tell you, if you're missing one eye, you lose depth perception, something extremely important in hand-to-hand combat.
@@zusfrankenstein8561 Lol in real life you lose those things for real but what about Kakashi he closes his right eye when he uses his Shariggan. Either ways the hair question is something that has been bothering !e ever since the All Might vs the first Nomu. Because he was having the upper hand until Shirigaki realized what his "go too" was which was his hair standing up
@@dishonlanferman It's just one of those dumb things you have to deal with in fiction. Why does Kakashi always keep his Sharingan eye covered, despite the fact that it would cut his vision in half and create massive blind spots in his line of sight? Who the fuck knows.
I love what your doing explaining this dan this gives awesome research for my comics stories I'm making by but mostly love vigilantes it's my favorite out of the heroverse. but if you need a break it's cool D.
Normally, I'm not a fan of videos like this where someone just dictates a chapter of a manga/comic because it (though unintended) can cause people to just watch the video rather than go to official sources and actually cause the company to lose profits and creates a downward spiral (*cough* *cough* DC comics ending their printing areas and outsourcing it because most people now listen to comicstorian rather than buy the comics or read on the DC website which made the comics have a negative profit), but, I really appreciate your discussion of what this means and theories. 1. I guess this wasn't a thing most people that didn't speak japanese pick up on, but 6's civilian name is Rokuro Nomura which if you remove the last symbol from first and last name becomes Roku Nomu which translates to 6 Nomu. Hence his title, Number 6. So, at this point, we can assume that AfO had successfully began producing Nomus. And knowing the type of person AfO is where he plans out in advance what powers he wants to steal, we can assume, the doctor and he created number 6 and showed number 6 constant videos of O'Clock. They also mentioned that when 6 saw the video of O'Clock getting a scar across his face, he cut his own face. So most likely, the base O'Clock came across was a Nomu facility that AfO had used as bait to lure in O'Clock to steal his quirk and give it to 6. It could also mean that the Bees are another monster created by AfO. We also did see proto nomus from the fight against Capt Celeb at the sky egg, since the intent was to create a nomu that can take down All Might. But yeah, tl;dr: Number 6's name translates to 6th Nomu, and AfO probably lured O'Clock to the specific location to steal his quirk and give it to 6. Proof of it being bait is that Number 6 had seen a video of how O'Clock got the scar, which we know was recorded by AfO. 2. Death of Koichi...so there is a slight chance that Koichi actually dies at the end of the series or meets a fate similar to Knuckle Duster. Just like KD, there is a good chance that Number 6 has been ordered to lure out Koichi so his quirk can be taken. We know 6 follows orders from higher ups and doesn't run wild other than minor scuffles like when he killed Cloud and crew. So the reason I believe Koichi loses his powers is because quirks, despite being named, don't really have official names. It's kind of what the user decides to call it. In the appearance against KD, AfO is seen standing and used his hulking hand attack to smack KD and drain him. But in the fight against All Might, we see AfO flying slightly off the ground with an ability that he was calling air cannon and using air blasts as well. So if we take into account that AfO combines quirks to empower and evolve them, it's easy to see that his flight and air blasts are amplified versions of koichi's flight and air bullets. 3. Hero Licenses and the lack of intel in the hero world. So with the fact that Number 6 holds a hero license and applied for it as a civilian, the immediate question comes up of why did uraraka bother going to a hero academy when she could have just gone into a field with a higher average pay than what looks to be semi-corporate businesses. Also does this mean that AfO has other heroes who are actually Nomus created by him mixed into the hero association. 4. Talking about other heroes, I'm surprised we didn't get an image of Koichi's phone with missed calls from Ingenium, since we know they became friends and go jogging in the morning. 5. Meanwhile, now that I think about it, there is a chance that Koichi dies due to Aizawa's background from the main series volume 1. In that, they talked about how aizawa became a really strict teacher and expelled kids from his class. But in vigilantes, the Aizawa we've seen is strict with Koichi and co. but he isn't a really strict guy, but much rather a pretty relaxed dude when he isn't fighting. He even helped plan a cat cafe and casually visited a villain hangout for coffee and jokes about making it his base for an agency. There's a good chance that Aizawa was at UA at this point and was probably a relaxed professor not caring too much but caring enough to make sure that students know how to protect themselves cause of his childhood, and then he saw on the news reports of the attacks in Koichi's neighborhood, and maybe saw the victims list contain Koichi's name. That could easily drive him to be far more strict with students and try to stop kids from being heroes because he blames himself for not stopping Koichi at all those opportunities and thus blames himself for Koichi's death. 6. Modern day vigilantes and Deku's road to an licenseless hero...honestly, prob not. If you see the interview b/w kubo and hori, hori wants to emulate the shounen stuff he read like bleach where the MC fights stronger and stronger baddies. So it's unlikely for a storyline where Deku searches and meets the vigilantes and starts a vigilante arc like it's the last book of harry potter. Rather, it would be more likely for Eraser Head to recognize some of the quirks if any of them are reused and have a feeling of guilt over it. Meanwhile, it's a good chance KD is dead. It's likely he wrote the letter before going off to face 6, and we haven't seen him since. This will probably also be used to throw Koichi off balance in the fight with 6. (queue 6 shouting: I killed your master.). We could instead possibly see KD or koichi being used as a body for a nomu instead. Or possibly an empowered 6 appearing from one of the vats to fight Aizawa. Also given that AfO was rumored to be dead when KD lost his powers, I wonder if that got written off as KD being a potential victim to the quirk cancelling bullet or something...honestly, it seems idk, interesting but weird. Regardless, Deku doesn't seem like the investigative type, but more like a huge fanboy such as ourselves. Though it would be nice to see our boy Koichi teaching Deku how to float and being an older bro figure to the squad, and maybe seeing Aizawa, Koichi and Deku meeting at the cat cafe lol. Bonus: It'd be nice to see the different characters that interacted with the vigilante crew slightly grown up in the main series. Like cyclops and wolvering being students at UA or another school, and the delinquents all having normal jobs. Maybe even seeing that KD's daughter might be a famous idol or singer in the region. I'm surprised she didn't show up yet, and I wonder if she has a quirk similar to KD's Over Clock quirk...
Also we don't know what's going to happen when it's all said and done. We might see the crippled Six try to escape but gets caught by AFO and gets his power removed. Then gets left for dead/gets killed by AFO.
What if koichi becomes a villain after all of this it would be a massive plot twist. Plus it would be like an evil deku I dont know what could make him like that but when this series ends if it ends like that
I mean awakening a quirk doesn't really happen that easily either if it's by using trigger, koichi might need a bit more motivation for his quirk to awaken at least with his personality
I feel like him awakening his quirk will just be him breaking through his mental barriers Like the shooty go blam blam and the fact he can fly but was conditioned out of it
wait so if u have overclock u can run a super speed and perceive time slowy thats op and number 6 said no matter the oppenent the user of overclock always has the first move so imagine shigiraki with the quirk thats death facing u
Please tell me this manga will become an anime! Also speaking of the two manga coinciding, I wonder if there will be any clues as to who the U.A traitor is in vigilantes. It would be pretty neat if that happend.
@@animusswtor4822 Yeah, I always loved that aspect of the Nomus, how no Nomu is all-powerful and each one is best suited for only a couple specific things.

But isn't Overclock with Number Six though? All For One wouldn't have it anymore.
Remeber dough All For ones doctor is replicating quirks so having a spare O'Clock is pretty possible
Also we don't know what's going to happen when it's all said and done. We might see the crippled Six try to escape but gets caught by AFO and gets his power removed. Then gets left for dead/gets killed by AFO.
He didn't just save pop step and knuckle Duster he save my life to thanks my Hero Koichi!
Hey i just found your Chanel but i hope you feel better soon. Cool video
What if koichi becomes a villain after all of this it would be a massive plot twist. Plus it would be like an evil deku I dont know what could make him like that but when this series ends if it ends like that
So basically there was all for one in this chapter?
It has to be him!!
Edit:- took you long enough to do a video on this chapter Dan.
Oh, so it was indeed him
Hahahahaha I'm sorry!
Time to Koichi awakens his quirk💯
I mean awakening a quirk doesn't really happen that easily either if it's by using trigger, koichi might need a bit more motivation for his quirk to awaken at least with his personality
I feel like him awakening his quirk will just be him breaking through his mental barriers
Like the shooty go blam blam and the fact he can fly but was conditioned out of it
08:03 that would be awesome!
wait so if u have overclock u can run a super speed and perceive time slowy thats op and number 6 said no matter the oppenent the user of overclock always has the first move so imagine shigiraki with the quirk thats death facing u
Please tell me this manga will become an anime! Also speaking of the two manga coinciding, I wonder if there will be any clues as to who the U.A traitor is in vigilantes. It would be pretty neat if that happend.
💯🔥🔥🔥 as always great work. 2 weeks. 😔
Im sorry! I'm getting new equipment I'm saving up!
dan do u think u can use overclock to speed up the user biolegy like accelareted healing
You absolutely can, number six used that when he mixed his cells with bomber genes to make his punches explosive
@@DanExclaims wow so kunuckle duster could of had acceleratede healing cool
are you saying o'clock was rivaling endevour and all might how strong must he be then
i really hope we get a crossover that would be great. and then after the manga is over an anime for vigilantes
What about endeavor vs usj nomu
I think he would make quick work of that one because it was specifically designed to fight all might so he just had to burn his head off to finish it
@@animusswtor4822 Yeah, I always loved that aspect of the Nomus, how no Nomu is all-powerful and each one is best suited for only a couple specific things.
Aizawa! Before you become a teacher and traumatize the students, can you deal with one last underground job???
Deku and this encounter would be sick
So technically my hero academia vigilante is just the DC universe adapted to anime
Oh shit we need to get the big gun get the metal gear
IF ITS NOT SAHALANTHROPUS IM OUT
yes
What's the name of the piano song on the background?
It's persona 5s bar music
@@DanExclaims Thanks for the reply! Your content made me start reading Vigilantes, which has helped keep my mind off the current state of the world. Keep up the good work!
We knew it :v
wheres all might when you actually need him
Look I have a pretty fuked up theory that Knuckleduster is indeed Deku's Father
Nice theory buddy!
I want to ask are this anime manga status is ongoing
Plus Ultra Dragon Aura Omega Mode
You ain’t feeling well eh?🤔🤔🤔 hmmm
Music name :)?
It's from persona 5! It's the bar from Shibuya
@@DanExclaims thank you so much! Also really love your my hero academia and vigilante videos. Pls keep it up
But didn't all for one give o'clock to number 6,do you think he still has the quirk?
they steal a quirk then replicate it to distribute it to all the different nomu so its possible they did that with o'clock
