There's BFDI Mini (6 short form seasons, BFDI Mini, BFDI Mini Again, BFDI Mini Deluxe, BFDI Mini Seriously, BFDI Mini Delicious, BFDI Mini Replicas), which can be watched via the compilation videos on the Jacknjellify channel (they are all collected in their own playlist, the Replicas video has yet to be made). Watching BFDI Mini will supply a little bit of context for a specific group of scenes in TPOT 15. Then there is the Firey Comics (Total Firey Island is the only one fully readable, Total Firey Points and Total Firey Switch haven't been shown to the public yet. There is also misc comics as well), a series of comics made before the first season of BFDI. I don't think there's an easy way to listen to the comics be read out but to be honest the Firey Comics aren't as important as BFDI Mini, and neither of them are vital (although I would personally like to see you watch BFDI Mini at least.)

At the same time though SolarVolar seems to make an effort to watch any content that is canon, even watching stuff like XFOHV or the Inanimate Comics. Plus there has been a very clear increase in BFDI Mini references in mainline BFDI; first Purple Girl is used on a community post announcing an episode, then Banana Apple is a talking character in the not-canon Pie vs. Pi short, then Glue is a talking character in the actually canon Plan Dissolve Adhesive short, and now TPOT 15 makes BFDI Mini actually canon and gives more characters voices. Seems like he should watch them because it's only a matter of time before BFDI Mini has a direct impact.
Plus also watching all of BFDI Mini only takes like 20 minutes. If he watched all the seasons of BFDI Mini before TPOT 15 the reaction video would be about an hour long which matches up with Solar's longer reactions. It's a pretty easy and quick watch. Also wouldn't be the first time he's watched misc canon material right before an episode where a little of that material is referenced since he read certain Inanimate Comics before certain episodes and the Inanimate Comics arguably have less impact on II than BFDI Mini has in BFDI.
PEAK WATCHES PEAK!! This was definitely my favorite episode of BFDIA. And the recent episode of TPOT is definitely my favorite of that season too. I genuinely can't wait for your reaction to it! The only thing im gonna say about it is that you are NOT ready.
