I have a theory for Luka already, at the beginning we see a dead body who resembles the little boy in the ALIEN STAGE video at 0:53 that runs past Hyuna if you want to check it out. It appears like they are on a stage so I’m assuming that Luka has already won Alien Stage once as many aliens take photos of him and that he appears popular in the ALIEN STAGE video at 0:34, not only that but he’s the oldest out of the six characters for this. I noticed that he’s thin and his fingertips and fingernails are bluish purple too which might have something to do with him being sick. Really love how put together this whole series is!

Depending on how long ago this took place, since the boy is rather young in Hyuna's memory, it could be possible that all three of them, Luka, Hyuna, and the mysterious boy all went to Anakt Garden together, and they all were close. Maybe Hyuna and the boy could've been siblings (similar hair color)? Anyways if the boy lost to Luka and Hyuna was close to the boy, it makes sense why they have a complicated relationship (see Hyuna trying to kill Luka in the trailer).

Ok so wanted to throw my theory out there as well So what if the hand their kissing is the real Luka and the one competing now is an alien? It would explain the purple finger tips and why Hyuna is so aggressive towards him in the promotional art we got :-0 I feel like this theory explains a lot such as how they seem so calm and collected on stage even when presented with a knife and the highest score in history as well as the level of devotion towards just ALIEN STAGE and nothing else that was shown in the magazine interview.

everything has pretty much been said in the comments (my personal favorite theory i read so far being the one that luka won against hyuna’s brother cuz the dead body in the video has the same skin tone and hair color as hyuna and thats why they have a not so friendly relationship) but i wonder: -if there’s gonna be some kind of parallel between sua and luka because of that image projected behind luka at 0:13 OR… -maybe its just to show that since luka is a past winner of ALST, he has been watching the show, remembering his first time on it and how it mirrors the experience the girl’s went through. -im actually intrigued to see the dynamics of his relationship with hyuna and any other characters introduced thus far

Yeah he is a former winner. He is also in his thirties. I think Hyuna is in a similar age bracket as him too.
Luka's voice feels so...hypnotic - I find myself replaying it to hear him again and again, it's like he's putting me in a trance with his voice
