- You have numerous traders on the Big Bull Podcast series on a digital blogger who made big mistakes, took loans and then suffered losses. After all of that, they learnt about trading psychology and strategies to become consistent in trading.
The story of Montu Rai featured in this podcast is not much different. A web developer and blogger by profession, Montu Rai was earning a good income but he was exploring some good investment means to earn quick profits.
He explored mutual funds, SIP and whatnot. Even had done a bank FD with 1 crore capital. But returns were very low and that too were coming very slowly.
So he ventured into the world of stock trading and started investing in IRCTC shares in the year 2020. The share was trading at around ₹1750 when he invested in it but Covid kicked in share fell to ₹700.
He suffered his first loss and knew that investing is not a thing for him. So he transitioned into stock options as he was getting bigger lots with a little capital. But stock options have a problem.It does not have much volatility required to earn profits on options buying. Here suffered losses in that too.
So now he came into index options and then here too he suffered losses because he was taking random trades and watching youtube videos which are usual suspects behind losses.
So he looked for alternatives and found a Telegram Channel which was providing tips for options trading. Montu took trade with this channel in option selling and earned 1 lakh rupee first day itself.
But the story from the second trade became quite painful. Tips went wrong and in a month Montu suffered the loss of rupee 6 lakh.

Every trader has a story that losses a lot but why should they didn't use stop loss.
Trading can be only learnt through experience and doing it practically. Even if you do 1 crore rupee course you will lose all money you have. Start learning, start trading with small capital.
