I'm about to start doing the CD swap on my gs300 and will be using info from these vids. On another note I dare someone to go thru this whole video and count how many times he says "umm" 😂😂😂
What is the kit you are referring too in the video for the clutch pedal? I think I heard something about a diagram to drill out the holes? Do you have a link for it at all?
It’s the new gs300 clutch pedal setup from xcessive manufacturing. I don’t think it’s on the website yet but if you call them they should hook you up. Tell them you heard about it from me if you could.
I’ll try and do a video on the whole build so it will make it easy. Wiring depends on your year. Mine is 02-05 so it’s the harder one. Earlier models are almost plug and play. I bought the Tweak’d Performance patch harness and it made it plug and play except for two wires.
Do you have any more info on the bell housing and adapter to the 2jz I kind of caught a glimpse of it for a second but is that one where you have to cut off the front half of the bell housing off of the z transmission? Also how is the clutch pedal throw where does the Clutch start to engage/disengage and you by any chance know the bore of the master cylinder for the Tracel
I have a video on my channel for how to do the whole trans conversion from Fischer/serial nine. It’s actually fairly simple. I don’t recall the bore size but if you call xcessive manufacturing they should be able to tell you. The clutch pedal throw and engagement is perfect in my opinion. Not too high or low.
Tarzan's Adventures Hell yeah dude thanks for the quick response doing the same thing on my GS 300 as well 2JZ GTE Swap with S366sxe turbo aem infinity What are you running for Clutch? And do you just use a standard 350 Z Clutch with the fisch performance kit? Probably going to look into some sort of triple disc hoping to make mid to high 700 wheel HP
Nice hit me up on Instagram so I can follow your build. And I’m using the ACT sprung six puck with the HD pressure plate. And yeah it uses a 350z clutch. The cool thing about Fisch and Serial nine is they offer either the single plate clutch setup or the baller twin plate Tilton clutch. The twin plate will hold more power than you can throw and still be nice on the street.
I used the xcessive manufacturing kit. If you want the pedal to look factory this is the kit but hard to install. The heat lightning pedal is out now and a really good option that is easy to install but uses a wilwood pedal.
I googled to find it. I think it’s the same as the is300 auto. But it’s on one of the trans plugs. The car will not crank without the pins being jumped.
@@tarzansadventure6625 hey man sorry I got one more question cuz I’m doing the same swap as u: is that clutch pedal the same thing on the Xcessive website or was it a special piece u actually had to call about
This kit includes your choice of two flywheels. Either a single or twin disc version. Both are chromoly one piece not aluminum two piece. This is another reason why this kit is far above any of the other options!
Subscribed and saved! In the process of project planning for my Aristo and this makes the list! Cheers all the way from NZ 🤙
Thanks! Manual swap it! You won’t regret it!
I can see those cuts on your knuckles haha.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge and findings. Much appreciated.
Listen to that roar! Good on ya, Tarzan👊
Thanks for the indepth review of the clutch pedal. I've been putting this part off for a while
first time on the channel. where you guy from? ill be back for the next one.
I’m in Orlando Florida area
Nice video bud. Good to finally see how it all goes together. Can you still use the foot E-Brake?
NortonskiJnr yeah the foot ebrake is still fully functional
Drum ebrake is staying to act as a parking brake. Dual caliper hydro ebrake coming soon on a future video.
2nd gen GS is fairly easy and plus you can 2jzgte swap it.

Hahahaha. Thanks for pointing that out. Also in all my videos I say “alright so” when I start every segment lol.
Where’d you get the clutch pedal assembly?

@@tarzansadventure6625 oh okay that's awesome thank you for such a quick response and I definitely will anything to help put fellow GS owners
Let me know if you have questions. Here to help.
@@tarzansadventure6625 do the do right and drive pedals , from New Zealand so hard to call ?
Great video💯💯 What year is your Gs? And do you think you could provide a parts list and links form where you got the swap information from?
Thanks! It’s a 2002 so it’s the harder ones to swap but I found the easy way. I’ll see what I can put together. What exactly are you wanting to know?
Tarzan's Adventures if possible everything from start to finish, especially all with the wiring.

Tarzan's Adventures sounds good thanks for sharing and I’m looking forward to that video💯
Give them a call. They will tell you what you need to do.

Hey Guys,
are you able to tell me how long the Drivingshaft is from the beginning to the Back that would be aweome :) thanks Alot
Super nice video mate
Thanks! Should have an update video this week with the car driving.
@@tarzansadventure6625 Great! Im super looking for to see it
Prelude11 it’s up now!
So you were able to install clutch pedal alongside with parking brake?
Yeah the xcessive pedal clears everything. If you want you can trim the brake pedal more.
What clutch pedal are you using?
I used the xcessive manufacturing kit. If you want the pedal to look factory this is the kit but hard to install. The heat lightning pedal is out now and a really good option that is easy to install but uses a wilwood pedal.
Bro cut the brake pedal or just get a manual brake pedal from offer up, ebay , local? or stealership. Swap looks like it's goin good though.🤙
Thanks bro
What clutch pedal is that from excessive?
It’s their new gs300 specific pedal. It’s not on the website yet. But call them up and they will get you set up.
Does the stranded prop shaft fit straight into the cd009??
No you have to get a custom driveshaft made
Can u heat up the clutch arm and bend it to the place u want it??
Yeah I’m sure you could. It’s powder coated so that might crack.
Queen
Hey guys, I just manual swapped mine and I can't find the neutral safety switch, and my car won't crank either
I googled to find it. I think it’s the same as the is300 auto. But it’s on one of the trans plugs. The car will not crank without the pins being jumped.
@@tarzansadventure6625 nice project. Keep it up. How did you installed the clutch pedal and Wich one you used?
so clean man props
Thanks bro
what slave cylinder are you running for the gearbox?
The Fisch racing kit comes with a Tilton racing hydraulic slave cylinder built in.
@@tarzansadventure6625 hey man sorry I got one more question cuz I’m doing the same swap as u: is that clutch pedal the same thing on the Xcessive website or was it a special piece u actually had to call about
No problem I made this video to help. I was the first with it. I would call up to them and ask them for sure.
@@tarzansadventure6625 just wondering, why didnt you use the heat lightning set up for the clutch pedal
When I did mine Heat Lightning hadn’t made there’s yet. I would have went with there’s if it was made at that point.
When running this kit what are your flywheel options?
This kit includes your choice of two flywheels. Either a single or twin disc version. Both are chromoly one piece not aluminum two piece. This is another reason why this kit is far above any of the other options!
Go watch the video before this one. It goes into the whole kit and how to do it

OkiStash of course. Let me know if you have more questions
Marco is funny my hands 8
Who did your wiring.
Wiring I used the Tweak’d performance patch harness.
