- Vladimir Putin has announced that Russia will restart the production of banned, nuclear-capable intermediate and shorter-range missiles. He said Russia will then consider where to deploy them as the U.S. had brought similar missiles to Europe and Asia. Putin said Russia had pledged not to deploy such missiles but that the U.S. had resumed their production. Watch for more details.
