- I was going to take a shower, then the doorbell rang. It was the postman with my new (second hand) Godin nylon string! So this is literally the first thing I've played on it. I'm new to nylon strings so I'm looking forward to this new chapter in my guitar playing life. Yawn.
It's not really an unboxing or review as such. And I have no idea what the two buttons and switch do. I think it goes Volume/Treble/Middle/Bass/??? for the sliders going nearest to farthest as you look at it as the player. Anyone who knows what they do might kindly suggest it in the comments below.
I'm plugged into a Line-6 Spider IV 15w on the Clean channel with "some" reverb. Also a DigiTech JamMan Stereo for anyone who cares what my loop pedal is.
My dressing gown is from Dunelm and my hair could have been brushed. But as I said, I was just about to take a shower.

Ya you got the volume treble middle bass right. The last one is synth volume blend for when you use a syntheiser (you can combine synth outputalong with the signal). I really love my Godin ACS Rosewood HG :) but I came from classical guitar so for me it was awesome to get a clear recorded sound with a single cable and no mics.
Nice! For me it was more about getting a thinner (physically, not tonally) acoustic guitar for when my band has to perform an acoustic set in the afternoon. I have a small-ish car! Loving the wide nut width though.
@@agentling1 There are not many choices size wise for acoustic because once you shrink the body but want to get the same sound, you are then talking about silent/semi-silent nylon string electroacoustics, and there are really only two that I am aware: the Godin Multiac series and the Yamaha Silent. Never tried the the Yamaha but I'll get one sometime in the future as something to take literally anywhere (traveling, vacation, etc) as the price is much lower than the Godin and it's even more portable. Btw didn't reach to comment on the video... that was really awesome jamming. Great vibe :) What are you using for looping? Coming from classical I'm a complete pedal / pedalboard noob.

Is it okay to use a pick on a Godin nylon guitar? Will the line break?
Yes you can use a pick, the strings won’t break because of that. I’ve found this guitar hasn’t broken one string yet in comparison to the steel string guitars I have.
