In my case, it's the mic I use for recordings, and although it's a massive upgrade in sound quality compared to my phone, I feel the result sounds suffocatingly compressed with very opaque highs and lows. Out of your recordings, my favourite was No. 2, the lapel mic!

yeah i can never get the yeti to sound flatter. it’s a boom squash. so compressed it hurts and such a pain to compensate for in post.
