Last year the wife & I hired a VW crafter mwb van & we loaded it up with about 8 boxes with stuff we worked out we did not need a lot of it 😏 then a cool box, 2 camping stoves & camping chairs & tables & 2 mountain bikes & all our riding kit & 4 mattresses with loads of blankets & pillows. We all so took a awning room to go on the side of the van 👍 We went to Scotland for 3 weeks & went to Glenntress, Fort William & the isle of Skye & stayed on Campsites till the last night on Skye as we needed electric & water / showers. It got us thinking do we get a motorhome or a converted van🤔 then we started looking around & the prices are crazy 😲 so then I thought. Buy a new van crafter or MAN & convert it myself then the waiting time for a new van was silly so we ended up getting a motorhome & we have not stopped spending money on the thing as things were going wrong all the time 😡 & now that all the work has been done 🤞& we are away almost every weekend in it & love it 😁 But as for RUclips it's not for us as we work 40 to 50 hours a week & we just get away to be away from everything. I am still looking to get a new ish van or camper but it has to be a big one. Have fun & ignore the people that are giving you Sh**.

Probably the most genuine down to earth campervan channel. I like the Switzerland trip best. What you say is true van life is being demonised with vandalism attacks on campervans and making things difficult to park overnight free.
Just watched your video bit confused with "haters" if it is so bad why watch then comment 🤔 do they no know there is a skip button? I been following you about 4 years now what I like is it's like watching a family video no planning Just go for it! What business is it asking "how much do you make" would they ask if you worked at Asda ect? NO keep doing what you do that is why your channel keeps growing. The wife and I have bought a Motorhome this year and love it ! I have done a couple of videos myself but I’m not that great at it always too tipsy by the time I have built up the courage. I know some friends who have a RUclips channel and told me there are websites that estimate annual revenue but told me they are so far out that its part of the issue of misconceptions of social media creator. By the way they told me they are underestimated by 1000s! Good videos you guys do. Thank you for your videos you do. Yes you inspire others. 🙂
Yes, these websites are not to be believed whatsoever! I have no idea how they can be so far out, but how could they know! Unfortunately, some people do look at them and believe what they are reading on them. 😂🙂

Me and my partner were going to Australia to go travelling and then we bumped into your channel 😊 plans changed quickly and we brought a campervan, we lived in it for 8 months travelling the UK . I'm so sorry that you guys have to deal with so many haters but sadly this is the world we live in some people can't except that some people bust there asses and work hard so they can enjoy something like what you and Brooke do!! Well I say tough shit if they don't like it stop watching I plan on doing the same thing you guys do very soon and for the same reason we booked a hotel in Gatlinburg TN got there 2 hours early and said forget it went to a different hotel and got right in but we will be buying our travel trailer here in about 6 months and can't wait to start exploring. I love you guys keep pushing forward and most of all have fun and enjoy life cause like you say one life live it!!❤

All true Tom, we prefer to keep our meets on the smaller scale, it’s actually cheaper to nip across to Belgium and northern France where campsite fees are more realistic as we have found out, €14 per night with everything in Ypres Belgium with only a ten min walk to town. I have a RUclips channel and it’s for looking back at my memories of our trips and that’s all i use it for, anyway just back from a hiking trip to Tenerife with very high temperatures to break up our winter. NC500 for us next April for our first time and looking forward to it, take care you two good people, Robbo and Barb 👍
Great video as always Best way for people to start vanlife is use what they already have Eg if a person only has a car use the car eg try sleeping in the car overnight just take 2 warm overcoats as its getting colder in the uk in November etc and take 3 or 4 paper's to use to insulate your feet from cold car floor etc and a couple of tesco plastic carrier bags to use as draftproofing for your feet etc and take hat and you'll get through the night ok and fill your car with fuel to allow for fuel for journey and enough fuel for occasionally turning on car heater etc and a couple of flasks of hot water to make tea or coffee etc And you'll be just fine Living in a car is good for your mental health because it makes you creative because you have to make do and enjoy nature If you are new to RUclips do RUclips for you and a person can choose the option to remove the comments section on their videos etc
Firstly sorry to hear you get some of the toxic bs that exists out there in the keyboard warrior world. Anyone with half an ounce of common sense, and who have watched enough of your videos would know several things about you both: 1 - you both work. 2 - This is your passion, and your spare time is spent doing this, so all your holidays, your weekends off etc etc etc. 3 - Social blade suggests you earn anywhere between £122 - 2k per year from youtube - hardly enough to run a van on, my T6 costs around 3k per year on its own. The problem you have is people watch a video or two, see you talking about various elements of van life, see the van, and see you being happy and clearly are brassed off because they cant/wont or dont have the inclination to get out there, work hard and reap the rewards that hard work and endeavour bring. My only advice is keep doing what you do, and enjoy the positive sides, the toxic folk will move on to somewhere else, more so looking for a reaction... sad so and so's.
