  • I will introduce some flowers that are easy to use, and key points for beginners to start trying ikebana on their own.
    If you understand these basics, you can make your own ikebana piece!

    I enjoyed this lesson, especially the mathematics of creating balance. I, also,, liked showing the front view and side view to see that the arrangement looked charming from all sides. Thank you for this tutorial.

    Is it inappropriate to use dried or artificial flower?

      In principle, we use fresh flowers, however, we use those flowers depending on occasions.

    Please I did not get how to determine the length of the very first Cornus Sibirica branch. and cut
    it to the adequate length before inserting it on the kensan. Thank you otherwise for this great
    and interesting first lesson. It took a course in Ikebana many years ago. and. your approach
    today has given me a renewed interest to give it a go again. Arigato gozaimasu. From Belgium.
