This is awesome, I love the world of altered carbon because there’s so many interesting plot lines and things you can do with the relatively simple concept of stacks and sleeves. Kinda want to do a run as a scientist who can only get new pawns by double sleeving
I'm doing a mechanitor duo run with that exact premise at the moment, though I haven't progressed past late industrial tech at the moment. With AV Mechtech's limited mechlinks being the main way to add extra bandwidth to the colony It makes raids an insane challenge though as mechs kinda suck if you don't spam em.
No way, I was about to comment on the CE vid, dm on twitch, or leave a suggestion on your community post about reviewing Altered Carbon Resleeved a day ago. Thank you for reading my mind (I do know these videos take a long time to make and probably was already in production after CE)
Something about the Ouroboros meme I noticed that wasn't mentioned: when you have it as part of your starting ideology, your starting pawns seem more likely to generate with a stack or sleeve gene.
Its a SHAME you don't have more subs. Such high quality content, keep up the great work! I added this mod a week ago to my current run, and i lost the quest colonist. They came in on the far side of my map, turbo screwed health wise. She collapsed in the snow due to pain and hypothermia, and her persuers kidnapped her before I could get to her. No research for me lol.
@MysteriousFawx RimSort said there was an update for it the last time I booted. Will look at the mod settings when I boot it up! I was going to dev mode to trigger the quest again eventually.
Thanks for the rundown! I was waiting for you to cover it so I can understand wtf is going on. However, it might be important to note that people who play with anomaly may require an additional mod "Altered Carbon Creepjoiner Patch" for using this sleeves with creepjoiners
If you're looking for more Cyberpunk 2077 references, might I suggest doing a rundown on Kraltech Industries? Sure it's balanced with a sledgehammer versus typical Rimworld and a good portion of the weapons' sounds need rebalancing(as in they're much louder than the vanilla stuff), but its definitely a mod for cyberpunk fans who love crazy damage numbers and loud-and-proud power trips.
On an side note, if you haven't read the titular book or watched the 2 season series, I highly recommend you do so. It's one of my all time favorite cyberpunk worlds, it is absolutely true to form for the genre. Like the only other world that matches it in execution is likely shadowrun's world.
I bounced off the second season for some reason, might have been too long between watching the first season though and I'd forgotten a few of the plot points. Might need to be a full rewatch at some point
@@MysteriousFawx mild spoilers, but the series does get canceled right before the epilogue arc in the book, so you're not really missing much if you dropped it for that reason.
If you watch the show I also recommend to skip season 2 as it’s utter garbage. Season one of Altered Carbon can be compared to an HBO show, while season two feels like one the later seasons of a CW show.
I once had a cloner/stacking colony with the older version of this mod.... It was ethically really sus. The first generation of clones lost the sterile quality through a random genetic change... and clones CAN have relationships with eachother.... I found this out the HARD WAY when suddenly one of my warcasket clones got pregnant with a clone of itself >___< This mod pairs REALLY well with rimatomics as well imo. I do wonder if you can still install the stacks in androids from androids expanded.
How long has the quest event been implemented? I have played a long time with this and the previous versions through multiple colonies and have never seen it.
@ShivKnight1 it came in with the most major revision patch. There are more updates coming to the quest system soon as well, given what's already available to spawn in dev mode it looks like there might be locations similar to an ancient complex in the works.
@MysteriousFawx Nice an organic way to introduce the tech and mechanics will help set this apart from so many mods that just dump "cool gadgets" into the setting without much explanation.
This deadass has quickly become maybe the or one of my favorite accounts to watch
Me too!!! 🎉
Real

I love this mod, BTW according to RUclips recap you were my most watched channel of 2024
you seem to mention the forbidden mod alot and it made me think you at least dabble in the devils juice at least once.
We need The forbidden mod rundown this April
Maybe something for valentines day....
Well, hope you like having 90% of the video consisting of censored bleeps
the forbidden mod
my favorite

That's been patched super recently! You can now remove the prerequisite nano storage item

Man made horrors. What you do in this mod, wow. Very interesting.
Amazing videos! I love how in-depth you go.
A Save Our Ship 2 rundown would be amazing. A bit exhausting for you, maybe, but still.
Literally downloaded this mod yesterday. Such a good timing
yes
commenting to support the channel
this got me to watch the first season of the show
Love this mod. If i wasn't doing a CE playthrough I'd add it in a heartbeat.
Wait it isn't compatible with CE?
@Asphyx12 honestly not sure. I read through the compatibility list, didn't see it and just assumed.
@@generalhorsecok7331it’s compatible
@@generalhorsecok7331 Well i dont think it messes with any CE stuff so it should be compatible
@@BlackSheep205 I mean I guess the armor and stuff would not be compatible.
I love your stuff! I hope you go over the dead mans switch mod at some point.

I love all your mod breakdowns they are really useful I was wondering if you’ll cover ve genetics
the urge to name everyone agent smith is real
i love your content my guy
You should do the Glitterworlds mod next
1:51 I still have about 100 to 200 different clips of cyberpunk breaking abhorrently, and people thought skyrim was a buggy mess

wtf i just noticed that the envirosuit and helmet use the same textures as SOS2's VE retexture's EVA suits
Sweet content
21:00 oh so that's horrifying
I need a third season of Altered Carbon stat.
It would be nice if you made a mod rundown on Rim atomics, its a pretty complex mod and if you make a mistake it has... dire consequences.
LETS GOOOO!!!!!!!!
You should do a review of the "forbidden mod" for april fools.
Lovely
Plz do "Alpha Crafts", it deserves love ^_^

What a great mod!
Needlecasting is kind of strange to me, considering Android Tiers has a similar 'projection' system.
Please review the Dead Man's switch mod! It's gorgeous
People : "the forbidden mod" is the worst mod I have ever heard of.
Me: but u have heard of it.😅😅😅😅
