I like the purple on the tree. I wanted my kids to love art and always told them there was no wrong way. Even at a young age they would start on about the rules and comparing, etc. They would laugh when I'd say they could paint the sky green if they wanted to. So your purple tree reminds me of that.
I just got some Derwent inktense pencils and this was the perfect activity to use them on! Thanks for posting, it was fun and relaxing with no pressure to copy yours exactly.
