We do have some dairy farming in Trinidad, and usually buy fresh milk directly from the farm. Also, average price of onions in Trinidad is TT5.00 /lb. Nice to have you back here, hope you enjoy it, God bless
Good to have you back in Trinidad. You need to upgrade your accommodations. There are nicer, cheap, clean places to stay with running water & electricity.
I've watched and liked! You should hike to Caura River... that would be a nice adventure! People are always cooking and feting and some are willing to share! Enjoy the rest of your stay in T&T and be safe!
Dude you had me crying with you eating the ramen RAW! LMAO!! first time i ever saw someone doing that here in T&T plus i think you were trying to save money cause they are places that jus 1 meal will cost you around $45-60 TT dollars so spending $70TT isn't that hard...i like how you try to bring out a lighter side to my country despite it's tuff right now for the simple folks thanks dude!
Onions ranged from 3-5 dollars a pound depending on where you buy it. Ask around first before you buy. As a Trini myself I would say many Trinis are not honest. Robbing you a few dollars extra is not going to make that vendor richer. It's just a bad look on us as Trinis.
To get fresh pasteurized or unpasteurized milk, you need to go in the countryside by a farm. Grocery stores are not allowed to sell unpasteurized raw milk
The "correct" way to eat doubles anyway you wanna eat it except holding it like a sandwich and eating it. I used to tear and eat the bara as you did in the videos but these days bara has gotten so small that i just use one bara to scope up some channa and eat the bara in 2 bites.
I pay $5 per lb onion... Not everybody could make tasty doubles... I could make it but never tried... Only polourie, sienna and aloo pies are some of the Indian delicacies I might make since it's cheaper...
I liked how you walked to the savannah and did not just stay in the city center. You should challenge yourself to learn to cook a local recipe ^_^ . Like callaloo.

Definitely not the kind of accommodation Trinis would choose! Doesn't look as good as the shelter for the homeless!
