I think the camera does make a difference, there’s more reviews that clearly show the difference in not ideal lighting situations where lidar helps focusing a lot. Plus, the regular 12 can’t take portrait with nigh mode on
@samuel $100 gets you bigger screen and battery though.
I’d wait for a more comprehensive review.

@@LeeCookyperformance is still solid for me, doesnt feel slow or sluggish at all, but couldn’t say much about battery since my battery health is at 81% right now. However, with just a light use it still can last from 6am to 8pm for me with about 20% left. Though with outdoor usage you can expect that number to drop to just about a dissapointing 4hrs of SOT. Camera perfomance is still amazing for a 3 y.o smartphone.
I had the 12pro max scene it came out, recently I upgraded to the 15pro max. The 12pro max I feel like it’s still a great phone in 2024.

As an android user, the phone looks really good. Other android users need to stop hating on apple for every little thing. The photos using the camera have a noticeable higher quality. And the price point is actually cheaper than the Galaxy note 20 Ultra 5g. (Apple: $1099.99, and Samsung: $1299.99.) People have to stop being biased for mega-corporations.

This is definitely one of the biggest phones released by Apple. I think it is pretty impressive especially in terms of the strong A14 bionic chipset and the powerful camera.

picking up my 12 pro max this week. My friend has this phone and it’s incredibly reliable, stable with outstanding support I’m just a regular user who seeks those benefits in a company. I really don’t care about all the geek stuff. It’s an outstanding product that’s reliable, consistent and predictable. I love all Apple products.

@@jediael9906 I think it works great. I have been a die hard android girl from the beginning. But I took a chance and I’m glad I did. The cameras are amazing. Very clear, and high def. Things download fast. The speaker is loud and clear. I like the functions. I really love the size of the phone. It’s really not as big as people are trying to make it seem. It has True Tone and it makes the colors pop, very vibrant. The only thing I didn’t like was that it didn’t come with a wall charger so I had to get that separately. And you have to get the headphones separately. Other than that I ha e no issues with it.

But i want to check out the iPhone 12 pro max, I'm not much of a picture taker so the camera is never really a big deal for me. I do like a big phone, and for the price oh the 12 pro max, i can get the new OnePlus 9 pro. The only reason i am considering going to apple is because most of my family use iphones and so do my friends. It'd be nice to message and face time with my niece and nephew, but I'm scared I'm not going to like it. I down an ipad air and my work phone is an old iphone 7, and I'm pretty meh about them lol
@@TheBionicGoat i was a die hard android nerd for almost 6 years and when i got in my hands the 12 pro max oh my god.This phone is basically everything you will ever need.I also had a oneplus device and it was amazing but i wanted a flagship camera and more years of software updates sooo i had to get the iphone.And i dont regret it AT ALL it is one of the best phones of 2021.Short answer=Go for it totally worth every penny

Dude, comparing photos taken by the Mini and the Pro Max side by side was a good idea, but switching which side of the screen they were on was SUPER clever. Totally fooled me into thinking “oh yeah, that one is a little better” only to have the text for the Mini pop up, especially in the photos of the Mac Pro. Really illustrated the point that the differences are negligible. Nice work!

I upgraded to the 12 Pro Max from the XS. The main reason I upgraded was a $700 trade in with AT&T. I upgraded my wife to the 12 Pro Max from the 8 Plus. I could have been happy with the Pro, but for what I paid, I won't look back. Thanks for a great review.

My sister in law gave me her iPhone 12 Pro Max today (looks identical to the one in the video, with the golden frame around it and the white on the back, except hers also has a plastic green see-through case), for me it's an upgrade from iPhone XR and I can defintiely feel the huge physical difference in size! And battery seems to last longer too so I'm hoping this model will last me for many years ahead! :)

My brother has this phone I got a 13 pm and I’ll say this it has aged very well still a great camera battery and display it still has fantastic performance iPhones age so well

It really a guy phone. I have no problem with the large screen. I really like that over the standard size as I’ve always used the pluses. My partner is very petite and yeah she struggles alittle with it but in time I say she would get use to the larger size
meanwhile I can't even reach across the screen on the smaller ones

Same, No reason to upgrade! Only complaint is my storage (32 GB 💀) but eventually I’ll upgrade when I can’t get software updates 👌😆
