    Hi. What is update on your program? i am a nurse considering this track for MBA but hate accounting and any related finance type classes. Is it doable or really challenging? Was your goal full or part time? Are you on track to finish in time?

    • @lolgeselle
      @lolgeselle  2 года назад +8

      Hi Michele! I actually finished this month! YAY! In less than one year! They do a really good job teaching and providing resources, I knew nothing prior to the classes. It is challenging but doable for sure. My goal was part time and I finished faster than I wanted! :)

    Can I ask you after you got your bachelors in health care management? Were you able to get a job quickly? Especially with no experience? Also what is the pay?I'm reading a ton of resources stating this degree is not a good degree because you have to have experience to get paid well. Versus if you become a nurse you get a job immediately with good pay out of school.

    • @lolgeselle
      @lolgeselle  Год назад +1

      I got my masters in healthcare management. It is actually for me to move up in the field. Typically you would need experience to receive a high paying job so a masters isn't needed necessarily. It just depends on what you want to do with the degree.

    Hi Geselle, I am about to start a new program in Las Vegas at LV college. They are making a cardiovascular sonography program there and I am really excited to get it started. I heard in one of your last videos you talking about how you work 3 12 hour shifts. That is literally my dream schedule. I almost became an RT because I know that is the schedule guaranteed pretty much, but I feel more passionate about ultrasound than I do about respiratory therapy. Is it likely I can get on a 3 12 schedule in Las Vegas? I’ve also heard about on call as well. Will I be forced to be on call? Or will I be able to dodge that?

    • @lolgeselle
      @lolgeselle  2 года назад +4

      Hi Sam! That's awesome. What's the program called? And yes you can work 3-12 hour shifts it just depends on where you work! And on-call is usually part of the job unless the facility does not have on-call. That's something you may or may not be able to dodge depending on where you work and what they tell you when you do onboarding. Definitely ask that question to all the places you work at. I'll tell you a majority of places have on call shifts in Las Vegas. There are only a few who do not offer (hospital wise). Outpatient does not usually have on-call.

    • @samscopoulis7195
      @samscopoulis7195 2 года назад +2

      Does outpatient offer the 3 12 schedule? Or is that a 8-5 m-f schedule? How does on call usually work at the hospital? Sorry so many questions 😅

    • @lolgeselle
      @lolgeselle  2 года назад +3

      @@samscopoulis7195 usually 3-12s are in the hospital. Outpatients are more office hour type schedules. Call means you are "on-call" for a period of time where the hospital can call you in as many times as they need or not even at all. You get paid per hour of call + additional pay if they actually call you in.

    Hi. I’ve been trying my best to find a great online school that has sonography as a degree and I haven’t found one. How and where did you go to get your sonography degree. Every school that I’ve talked to said that you needed a certificate or something before you can start. I’m confused and at a lost at how to get started

    • @lolgeselle
      @lolgeselle  2 года назад +2

      Hi! You would need to look at CAAHEP.org to find an accredited school. There's not many online schools for sonography that I know of. I got my degree at UNLV. You can look for different programs in your area and see what their requirements are. Every school is different. Not all require certificates. Just gotta do some more research and may have to look outside of your city.
