something doesn't add up. I wish her the best, but I think there is something up with the mental health side of things. Banks don't just cut you off, they need people to assess and sign legal documents. She must have given them a reason to do what they did for her own good. hope this all works out.

Her mother passed the same year she got a divorce and she has a elderly father. 13 years no break she deserved this time off.

This wasn't Wendy. She made sure to say 57 years old, since Wells Fargo claimed the beach video is old (She says she is 56 in it and talks about her mom, who is currently dead). If Wendy were healthy enough to make the beach video, why wouldn't she just release another video to get her account unfrozen? Something is very off and parts of that phone call sounded like a younger woman doing that Wendy nasal tone. She nailed some parts like when she said "my Wendy watchers", but other parts sounded very weird to me.
Could easily be a sound board, where multiple phrases are collected in a database to make it sound real.

I don't think she could walk on the beach with her leg problems think about it ,it not easy to walk on sand when your legs are ok and she has been in a chair for a while.this thing needs investigating.

Bothers me that she wasn’t on cam. That could have been an impersonator or some other audio magic. Wendy has not been as quick talking and coherent as she is in this interview for many years. Something in the water ain’t clean here
I thought the same. Allegedly her coworkers wanted to send a video crew to Florida so she could tape something for the fans to let them know what's going on but she denied. And Allegedly the video posted of her on the beach with her son talking with her was old because she mentioned being in Florida with her Mom (who passed) and she's 56 not 57
Wendy, it's good to hear from you. You are a legend. There's nothing wrong with you. You are definitely mentally confident and capable of handling your life and responsibilities regardless of what's out there about you.
She said she was okay but i have been listening to her for decades. She does not sound okay.

She is still under contract and it ends in September/October. so she can come back for a few months and go out with dignity...I guess. It would be awkward for her and the fans.

I can hardly wait for WENDY to come back! Sherri was a good "fill-in" for WENDY, but can NEVER REPLACE WENDY! I HONESTLY CAN NOT THINK OF A SINGLE PERSON that can do what WENDY does. WENDY is ALL encompassing, from trashy to classy! AND I LOVE watching her!!
Yep. The network lazily made a wrong move there. Being a good temporary fill in is a lot different than choosing someone to lead their own show. Nobody waits on the edge of their seats to see what Sherri says next. Nobody checks the news to see the controversy Sherri is involved in from her new remarks weekly like Wendy. Two completely different brands. The whole format of the show is around gossip...Sherri is just not that kind of girl. It's going to get old quick. Wendy is at the height of her career. It's going to take a lot more than being funny and charismatic fill in to replace someone like Wendy.
Something is wrong when she doesn't want to show herself.

I love Wendy and I would love for her to be back, but honestly, this didn't even sound like her old self. Not even close. And not showing her face? Why? I hope she gets better, regardless of whether she starts working on a show or not. If she's really well enough, she can easily start a RUclips channel or a Spotify podcast, it doesn't even need to be TV.
I wish her the best. If she comes back that's awesome, but if this is the end......she has had an amazing career.
Every time she does these interviews nothing ever seems to be cleared up in fact there's always more questions than answers afterwards. I wish her well but I don't think we'll be seeing her on tv again.
Sometimes, we have setbacks- it happens to all. How wonderful would it be that during those times, we are given support and a helping hand rather than being ridiculed and disposed of. I truly believe that Wendy will come back bigger and stronger than ever! She really is a positive force that needs to be applauded. Looking forward to Wendy’s return to tv or any other media of her choosing!

I’ve been following Wendy since her radio days. I’m happy to hear her but it’s also bittersweet because I can tell she’s not herself 🥺
Her answer as to why the bank was doing this was not on topic and made no sense. I feel so bad for her for what ever she is going through. I have concerns about her safety where she was not seen nor could we see who was in the room with her or how she may being coached. I don't think this was an interview that GMA should have done.

I definitely have concerns. She said what great health she is in and then when asked if she could go back to work tomorrow she said she needs three months. Well obviously three months comes to June which is the end of her show anyway. I don’t believe a bank will Recommend a conservatorship for Wendy without significant evidence that something fishy is going on.

Interesting interview. "Give me three months" is what she's probably been saying to the owners of the Wendy Williams show since last fall. That kind of thing can't go on forever because it's no longer the Wendy show... it's the Guest Host show. I hope Wendy can come back but I have my doubts. She may be coming back in her mind but the time slot is gone and has been given to Shepherd. How do you undo a done deal?
She should double host with some of the co hosts and then back them out.

I don't care for the woman, and I think it's abhorrent that anyone would follow her or watch her trifling program. Having said that, I wish her health and well being. I have a feeling she needs to do a lot of healing, though, beyond merely physical.

Very strange. Why so many "voice over" explanations ? Sounds like they recorded her randomly talking and then built the story around that. Shes not on camera because it might not have been a real interview. Hasn't she been replaced by Sherri Shepherd ?? Not on camera - even ZOOM ? Very very strange.

And now you're asking us to believe that Wendy wasn't high out of her damn mind in that Fat Joe interview or that her obvious addiction issues are what led to her losing her show and access to her finances.
Ok, can we talk about the weirdness here? Her son is posting old footage of her and now she finally speaks out, but she won't be seen on camera and things don't add up. What's up? Is there something she doesn't want us to see in her facial expressions from her illness? Is she being coached and actually is being exploited (rumor has it that her exploitative and abusive ex husband is back in her life) and controlled by someone? Something is really, really off. The desperation to pretend things are OK, I just don't get. Is she pretending to be well to re-gain control of her finances because of Wells Fargo? Something isn't right.
And no hate to Sherri, but I have little interest in a Sherri Shepard show. Sherri has been on daytime before, and she wasn't standout. Wendy's show and time slot are a thing because of Wendy...her very particular brand of shade, realness, emotion, cattiness and humor. Sherri is nice, but she can't compete with what Wendy brought. That's why Wendy lasted for so many seasons and her fame is STILL rising. The same cannot be said for Sherri. People won't be on the edge of their seats to hear what Sherri says next. This is real laziness on the part of producers and network for simply choosing a decent guest host to lead a WHOLE show forever because it worked for a quick minute. Not a lot of long term strategy there. Help Wendy come back and do what needs to be done to get her back.

It is VERY bizarre to me that a bank can request a whole conservatorship over someone because they believe someone is irresponsible. Like… the bank should just be there to hold the money. Period.
It could mean that there was weird activity in her bank account, like a lot of money consistently being transferred to someone like her ex-husband.
