The last thing we should do is charge people in the 'court of the internet', especially when we do not have first hand knowledge of said issue! Now if they say something in a video or videos which is clearly unbiblical, then that is a different matter since we are able to hear that if it is spoken in our hearing.

Live it up Awaken Church, Pastor Houston is out here in SD as a direct result of your tithes. As part of the Hillsong Global Network a percentage of your tithes goes directly to Hillsongs ministries. It affords Jurgen special access to Hillsong guest speakership’s and nice little payouts for speaking fees for both parties. I wouldn’t be surprised if Houston was paid over 40k for this message.

Why would you get a man who has been disqualified from being a pastor because of his behaviour, to preach at your church. I mean, did he even open the bible???

While I never call false teachers “disqualified” (although they should be) I’d assume your saying he is disqualified because he was hiding his fathers s*xual assault cases. I don’t know if you were aware but he was found not guilty in those. But if you’re referring to his actually teaching then sure I’d agree. Just comment on every other church’s post then.

There is no scripture that states Jesus went to 'hell' after He died on the cross. Please recall that Jesus said that the dying thief would be with him in 'paradise'!

      - He went in: 1 Peter 3:18-19.
      - He descended: Ephesians 4:8-10, Romans 10:6-7.
      - He came out: Psalms 16:10-11, Revelation 1:18.
Glory be to Your Name, Jesus!

Do NOT regard anything Brian Houston says as biblical and trustworthy. He meets none of the qualifications for a pastor (1 Timothy 3), and he has brought incredible shame upon the name of Christ and the Church. Shame on the people who gave this deceiver another platform

We must not judge people God will be the last judge all we have to do is prayer for your pastor.

@@najekosims1580 I should backtrack a bit and say that yes, there is grace for people who make mistakes in ministry, regardless of how big it is. However, this does not mean that person should continue in ministry. There are many pastors who, while they are not perfect, maintain their personal integrity and teach Scripture accurately and faithfully.
Brian Houston has done neither. He is notorious for preaching a "prosperity gospel", and he has been reported multiple times for substance abuse and scandalous, sexual behavior. I am not saying God cannot use him in different ways, but Scripture makes it clear that he should not be operating in the role of a pastor.
That said, let me also say that my initial comment was quite sharp, so I do apologize for that
