    I disagree with the MVC. In my opinion it was easily Kenrith.
    1- Kenrith stopped Zack's win attempt and killed him.
    2- Kenrith saved LED from Winds of Rebuke and LED was both the starter of his win con, his infinite mana loop and put Razaketh in grave
    3- Kenrith was the one to put Razaketh on the battlefield and one of the search fodders
    4- Kenrith was also the win condition.

    • @YetAnotherScrub
      @YetAnotherScrub 3 года назад +6

      True, but I guess they wanna showcase something a little more unusual. In any case, Razaketh certainly did a lot of work to actually win.

    • @leonardoluiz7487

      @@YetAnotherScrubCan't disagree with you, and in a lot of situations I could easily agree with him as the MVC.
      The 2 main reasons I put Kenrith above were the fact he "saved" the game by killing Zack and his draw ability in response to Winds of Rebuke to draw LED from top and start the combo.
      EDIT: Also the fact I personally don't see them use Kenrith's Black ability, and that was how he put Razakhet on the board.

    • @YetAnotherScrub
      @YetAnotherScrub 3 года назад

      @@leonardoluiz7487 yeah I agree with you that Kenrith deserves it more, just suggesting a reason why it might have been Razaketh.

    • @khurgar8120
      @khurgar8120 3 года назад

      But without razeketh he wouldnt be able to find salvagers to actually win that turn. That combined with his 12 hp means he was very close to death, especially considering he had both mana crypt and tarnished citadel in play. If he didnt get razeketh out he probably would not have won, and thats why razeketh gets the mvc. Saving LED wasnt that big of a deal to begin with since the line to win was through salvagers. Kenrith was only the win condition in the sense that his ability gave him the opportunity to hit for lethal but Razeketh made everything around it possible. It was razeketh that found all the pieces, including silence, to secure the win.
      Think of it like this. What would kenrith have done in the same situation if razeketh wasnt in his hand? He would have done nothing.

    • @leonardoluiz7487
      @leonardoluiz7487 3 года назад

      @@khurgar8120 without LED he wouldn't be able to put Razaketh in the grave to bring back. Paying full price for Razaketh is very risky and easy to disrupt.
      Without Razaketh kenrith would be able to gain life with the Green ability and draw with the blue one to get to another win con. Without Kenrith he would have to hard cast Razaketh, risking It being countered. He would be very short on mana and creatures (considering the same board without Kenrith) at that point and would become a huge target.

    Note to many thassas oracle players, if the devotion to blue is equal or greater than the cards in your deck you still win. For this exact reason allow the amount of cards in your deck to always be one less than your devotion to avoid cards like rebirth to not allow someone to put a card on top but also to be draw proof from opponents. It was a small misplay by Zack but too many thassa oracle players remove all cards on the etb trigger, always leave one card on the deck, you'll still win.

    Honestly, Kenrith did more work than Razaketh. Kenrith allowed Jesper to cast Razaketh both by stopping Zack's early win and by being the way it was actually cheated into play, and then provided the actual win-con, he both started the whole play AND provided the payoff.
