I disagree with the MVC. In my opinion it was easily Kenrith. 1- Kenrith stopped Zack's win attempt and killed him. 2- Kenrith saved LED from Winds of Rebuke and LED was both the starter of his win con, his infinite mana loop and put Razaketh in grave 3- Kenrith was the one to put Razaketh on the battlefield and one of the search fodders 4- Kenrith was also the win condition.

The 2 main reasons I put Kenrith above were the fact he "saved" the game by killing Zack and his draw ability in response to Winds of Rebuke to draw LED from top and start the combo. EDIT: Also the fact I personally don't see them use Kenrith's Black ability, and that was how he put Razakhet on the board.
But without razeketh he wouldnt be able to find salvagers to actually win that turn. That combined with his 12 hp means he was very close to death, especially considering he had both mana crypt and tarnished citadel in play. If he didnt get razeketh out he probably would not have won, and thats why razeketh gets the mvc. Saving LED wasnt that big of a deal to begin with since the line to win was through salvagers. Kenrith was only the win condition in the sense that his ability gave him the opportunity to hit for lethal but Razeketh made everything around it possible. It was razeketh that found all the pieces, including silence, to secure the win. Think of it like this. What would kenrith have done in the same situation if razeketh wasnt in his hand? He would have done nothing.

He would be very short on mana and creatures (considering the same board without Kenrith) at that point and would become a huge target.

I've only done that once but using a spell, not Kenrith to force a loss but that's just always badass to watch happen; goes to show the player is truly paying attention to the stack. I was just thinking this, I'm like this dude ALWAYS has exactly the cards and/or mana to interact with the board and win. Either he is the greatest deck builder of all time and has the luck of 10,000 lottery winners, or he's cheating lol. EVERY SINGLE GAME I HAVE SEEN HIM PLAY!

@Lonely Soull If you leave 1-2 cards, don't have any more blue mana symbols and someone removes the Oracle in response to the ETB, suddenly you don't win the game anymore. The chances that your opponents might have a way for you to draw cards at instant speed are very low. The chances that they have creature removal, on the other hand, are very high.
Note to many thassas oracle players, if the devotion to blue is equal or greater than the cards in your deck you still win. For this exact reason allow the amount of cards in your deck to always be one less than your devotion to avoid cards like rebirth to not allow someone to put a card on top but also to be draw proof from opponents. It was a small misplay by Zack but too many thassa oracle players remove all cards on the etb trigger, always leave one card on the deck, you'll still win.
4:49 - is there a reason to counter pyroblast instead of chain of vapor? Counter chain directly and you don't give your opponent a bird. Am I missing something?
My favorite deck I have is Kenrith. Even though it's casual, the deck is just absurdly powerful just because you have 5 powerful mana sinks and can constantly heal off incoming damage.
I don’t want to give people cards in hands. Too risky. Also I needed to find and cast silence to make sure that all my playing of LED would be nullifying all the carddraw from Rhystic study.
@@JesperEjsing that makes sense, giving people cards is bad, unless you play silence first, then it doesn't matter. Kenrith is pretty busted. even a 50 $ version that Mitch from Commander's quaters plays is pretty powerful for a budget deck. but some commanders just do a lot of stuff on their own, Kenrith, Jhoira, weatherlight captain, Najeela the bladeblossom. these pretty much build themselves. you can put any 30. warriors in Najeela and it would still be good. you put all the cheerios artifacts in jhoira, doesn't matter what it does and its good.

Will the marchesa event be proxy friendly or not? I know that everyone pushes that cedh as a general is and should be proxy friendly but this is an event

If you take the exact same game but you remove razaketh from Jespers hand he lose. The only 2 cards that could actually win him the game there were raza and salvagers. Kenrith would just be kind of a dead piece on the board if he didnt draw any of these 2, and since his plan was to go inf with LED salvagers it wouldnt matter if he had LED in his hand or in his gy.
When the Kess player doesn't check if the Kenrith player has mana for the draw ability. I am used to only tainted packing to my 2nd to last card, one in my play group plays bant hippo. I think the last time this happened with Jesper he did the oracle and the Kenrith player forgot to make him draw the card.

Honestly, Kenrith did more work than Razaketh. Kenrith allowed Jesper to cast Razaketh both by stopping Zack's early win and by being the way it was actually cheated into play, and then provided the actual win-con, he both started the whole play AND provided the payoff.
For some reason I don't find videos with Jesper more amusing then others, on top of that he always has a flipped deck and battlefield. It's just inconsistent. Lyckily still a good match to watch though.

Its spicy compared to normal Kenrith decks. Kenrith decks usually just run normal Turbo Naus, Underworld Breach, Hermit druid, etc lines. You usually dont see Kenrith Reanimator

Nope it's the right line but I think it's actually what happened in game - notice no token gets created after the stack resolves

They can remove thoracle at instant speed then they wouldn’t win.
