The last few payments through the manual RTGS form and going through a bank agent were my worst experiences - delayed email feedback, time difference/diaspora and not knowing if funds truly transferred. I performed the RTGS transfer online via online banking my bank has already credited the money but it hasn’t reflected on my Dhow CSD deadline is on Monday how will I know the payment was successful?
Am also not in Kenya but my bid was accepted but I don't know how to transfer the money because I did it in DhowCSD app , I tried to reach my commercial bank they have completely have no idea,
Any experience on dhowcsd after bond payment? How soon after payment is the portfolio updated by CBK? Its nerving especially if instructions were given to the bank and you are not sure if all is well before the deadline..
I gave my bank instructions yesterday, but nothing on my portfolio. Today I tried contacting CBK in vain so I called my bank and they said the payment was completed by them today and still nothing on dhowcsd portfolio. Now am worried and tomorrow is the weekend
@judithkimani1934 With the weekend and the public holiday, give it until Tuesday morning. Either your portfolio will be credited or bank will reimburse the money if there is a payment problem. It's the same case with me, so I am also waiting.

CSD account is for holding the bond. Settlement account is what holds the money.
Is the payment process the same for Bills too?
Watch the current video on payment on the DhowCSD. The process has changed. Yes, payment for bonds and bills is the same process.

Do you get your money back if the transaction did not go through for one reason or the other?
@alicec6589 the money is only 'taken' by CBK if the bid is successful, otherwise, your bank stays with your money.

From my experience, once the money is debited from your bank account, the bond gets credited on your DhowCSD account immediately.

How much can you place a bond with?
