The standard chart bank is the best for this kind of remittance. Never been disappointed.

When one gets back some percentage of the principal invested in a bond during armortized payments, is interest for the remaining years till maturity calculated based on original investment amount or the percentage of the principal that remains? For those who invested less than 1 million in tye 6 yr bond. When will they be given they full principal back now that you have said the 8.5yr one will be given.aftwr 3yrs. Regards

How do you determine the second armotization amount - 1.25Mn - The first 1Mn is mentioned in the IFB1 brief, the 2Mn is the competitive bid threshold, how do you determine the 2nd threshold?
It's written in the prospectus
1.25mn is the threshold? for a scenario where the outstanding principal would be redeemed after the full 8.5 years (since the principal amounts after amortization in 2027 and 2030 will still be above 1M).

Redemoption is your principal. Redeem here simply means to return. So on the redemption date, the govt will return the entire amount you lent them initially

If I took a bond through an investment bank and I invested less than 1m will it also be paid back in 3 years or does this work differently?
Please ask them (read their terms and conditions) because I've seen some investment banks says they reinvest your coupons and principal

You pay the full amount. Face value
This is not a bill. Bills are discounted but bonds aren't.

Who can explain to me kindly, when you bid a certain amount, lets say 50,000 but the price they ask you to pay is 55,000 what has happened?
You must have bid for a tap sale/ reopened bond. You'll always pay more if you bid for a reopened bond or a tap sale of a bond because it is assumed the bond has 'earned' some value since the first time it was put out.
And of course it's actually a calculated so you can always work back to see if you are paying the right amount
