Chennai is seriously underrated. Having lived in this city since birth, I can get that you may find it hot and humid, but each city has its own drawbacks- I think the one city that comes very close to having an eclectic balance in what you need to raise a good family, and have the right balance of inclusivity, culture, tradition, entertainment, safety, pollution-free environment is Chennai. No other Indian city comes close. In recreation, infra, and global connectivity it can improve, but other than that- we are doing well for ourselves!
I live near bessy beach .its so beautiful but honestly I dont feel like going their these days cuz many people have discovered how beautiful it is..and I'm jealous and annoyed by that fact..its got so commercialised and its very congested and crowded, especially during weekends...few years back it was so peaceful to visit the beach but now I dont feel like going🥲...but still its the best beach I've seen, tons of good food and its very clean !
Safe city, clean city (one of the cleanest metros), spread out evenly so commute isn't the worst, and cost of living (real estate) still better than most metros. Connectivity with airports is decent too! I think the only thing people say about Chennai is the weather and honestly that's a controversial topic
Kamasutra was written by a celibate monk, Vatsayana. He says all kama acts are to be performed between married couples only. For men, all women (except the wife) are mothers and sisters. When Rick and Korbin quote the Kamasutra, they don't seem to understand the deep-rooted sense of Dharma along with kama that is in Sanatan. It's not free for all, multiple partners, sex before marriage that is now popular. That is not to say, you don't have the freedom to choose your own partner. Rick and Korbin have attained surface knowledge of our culture and now sit on judgements over things they have no hopes of understanding. Like they had done about the royal families of India.
Kamasutra has chapters on adultery including how to pursue a married woman... Don't try to white wash everything with one sense of morality. The Charvaka branch of Indian/ Hindu philosophy does not believe in supernatural elements and advocates pursuing pleasure as the goal of life. Read your scriptures...
Most Hindu gods are depicted with more than one spouse - Shiva: Parvati and Ganga, Vishnu: Sridevi and Bhoodevi (Krishna avatar has 16008 wives/ partners including Radha who's also older than Krishna. Rukmini and Satyabhama are the main or primary wives). I can go on and on... Shiva also mates with Vishnu when he sees him in the female form and this is described in Skanda puranam and also depicted in many temple art (not referring to khajuraho here but to plenty of mainstream Shiva and Vishnu temples in South India). Chidambaram Lord Nataraja temple and Guruvayur Sri Mammiyur temple are at least two famous and ancient temples where I've seen those graphic mural paintings and it's there for anyone visiting to see...
+ the music and choreo scenes entire winter season be it classical or contemporary - Chennai has the best in india. weather alone is the issue in chennai - for that we have AC. not a big deal. however most places in india too are too hot - delhi summer is unbearable. even a town like rishikesh on the foothills of himalayas is superbly hot from April till June. Mumbai equally hot as hell.

Coming from chennai - weather is really bad. Its due to simple facts . Chennai owns the 2nd largest urban besch in the world. Again it depends on the individual. From country standpoint we can be proud about it or stab the people in the name of criticism or if your ego was hurt for not mentioning your lovable city. Just my thought
I have had atleast 3 instances where i have met with people living all their lives in Chennai who on their first visit to our Mumbai City saying they have never experienced anything like this..even if Mumbai is congested.
There are few some reasons why we feel that way.. 1. Mumbai has skyscrappers and seak link roads that Chennai doesn't have..2. Mumbai has the best auto drivers who goes by meters, so thats a kind of big shock for any Chennaite..3. Monsoon in Mumbai is something else which Chennai cannot ever dream of handling it..If the amount of rain that Mumbai gets, pours in Chennai, the city will sink in 3 days...4. The green cover..Mumbai is way greener than Chennai..5. Broad minded people 6. Night life 7. Great getaways.. These are the points that Mumbai fares well than Chennai...Thats why Chennaites say that they have never experienced anything like this..Even I love Mumbai.. that doesnt mean Chennai is bad. Both are great cities.. Lets look at where Chennai fares well.. 1. Better beaches..Handsdown.. 2. More laid back..3. Cleaner than Mumbai..4. Less crowded 5. Lesser cost of living..6. Excellent and affordable medical facilities 7. Roads are great and traffic is less in comparision..
When it comes to the underrated city, huh Bhubaneswar be like Hold my beer I will prove it in the coming future just wait and watch. 😅😅😂 Actually many more cities are now in grooming phase although having lots of potential govt. And people always Ignore these small cities and always concentrate on Metro cities. No offence to other cities just love my place a little bit more. 😅
Food and language changes every 100kms in India. How can you even compare Delhi and Kolkota’s food to Chennai’s varieties of dosa? In Delhi all cuisines are Indianised with a tandoor version😜🤣; in Mumbai- they try to be too inventive; Kolkota is good for street food but they stick to their local cuisine; only in Chennai one can taste multi-cuisines in their authentic taste. Chennai is culture capital of India- no city respects traditions like Chennai does. And so… authenticity to cuisine is respected.
For all your kind information: Chennai is the second richest city in India after Mumbai..... Also one of the big city in India along with Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata...
Chennai has the worst weather I can think of, the humidity levels are insane, and in summer, it is hell. One can manage dry heat alone but with the humidity, hell no! I can't believe it wasn't mentioned.
I DISAGREE WITH WHAT HE SAID ABOUT LANGUAGE!! DONT CARE ABOUT HINDI...BUT PEOPLE DO NOT EVEN SPEAK ENGLISH ...EVEN IF THEY KNOW IT> PEOPLE JUST WANT EVERYONE TO SPEAK TAMIL... I have seen incidents where people know hindi and english but will not speak in those languages!!
Everyone is talking about cities, overated or underated, the biggest problem India will face in future is deserted villages & small towns,if this migration won't stop
Sorry to say this but the Auto drivers in Chennai are despicable! Only focused on fleecing customers. Literally and figuratively 'taking us for a ride'.
Moved to chennai from Hyd 2 years ago. Definitely more affordable and safe. But mannnn the temperature and the lack of feasible metro are the minuses. Metro construction is under progress throughouy the city. Hope it will be done before the next rajamouli film releases.
It's not the temperatures but the humidity. Hyderabad can get much hotter than Chennai during summers. Chennai has an excellent metro system but it doesn't cover any of the suburban areas where the migrants usually live. Chennai metro connects the two major railway stations, the bus terminus and the airport, all in one line. We can seamlessly switch between different means of transport including the MRTS and suburban railway.

@@vrithikajoseph4089 yes but shorts is part of colonial culture right and direct exposure of skin in sunlight is also not good so thin cotton layer helps 🤗🤘
if I'd to say in one line Chennai❤ is an emotion !!

With just 5 videos I have become a hard-die fan❤️❤️❤️
Chennai is seriously underrated. Having lived in this city since birth, I can get that you may find it hot and humid, but each city has its own drawbacks- I think the one city that comes very close to having an eclectic balance in what you need to raise a good family, and have the right balance of inclusivity, culture, tradition, entertainment, safety, pollution-free environment is Chennai. No other Indian city comes close. In recreation, infra, and global connectivity it can improve, but other than that- we are doing well for ourselves!
6 years in Chennai was the most fun and memorable time of my life. Grateful for that experience
Unexpected 😭🔥
From chennai, getting goosebumps
Hmmm so OSR gonna do collab with Rounaq?
Would love to
I live near bessy beach .its so beautiful but honestly I dont feel like going their these days cuz many people have discovered how beautiful it is..and I'm jealous and annoyed by that fact..its got so commercialised and its very congested and crowded, especially during weekends...few years back it was so peaceful to visit the beach but now I dont feel like going🥲...but still its the best beach I've seen, tons of good food and its very clean !
Well TBH no one expects them or any other foreigners to understand the minute details.
And Kama sutra is attributed to Vatsyayana and not Vishnu Sharma... Vishnu Sharma is the author of Panchatantra stories.
@@rajasecarane you are absolutely right. I stand corrected. I will fix the mistake. Thanks.
Top notch city to live. Seriously underrated. And the funny part, a lot of ppl actually speak Hindi.
He didn’t talk about December music festival, movie industry,Educational institutions. Hospitals. ❤❤❤
Come to Chennai for Surfing :)
we had all that food in Delhi!

*TRIGGERRRED SOULS*
And in recent survey held in India... chennai is most safest city in India...
Chennai is not underated city India's one of the main city
Chennai , Kolkata, Mumbai, Bangalore,Delhi cities are main city of India

The only bad things about chennai are its heat and its public transport.
I miss Chennai 😢😢😢 i wish i can go back....the food was heaven...
Great icons of Chennai, ( Rajinikanth, kamal hassan, vijay, ajith, ar.rehman, manirathnam, dhoni( Chennai super kings) paani poori, atho, fast foods, besant nagar beach. D.m.k, a.i.a.d.m.k, vijaykanth burma bazar ect......
What are the odds, I’m flying back home to Chennai tomorrow.
Chennai = Gem❤

Let it stay underrated, that’s how it will stay Chennai.
South vs Bollywood his video is lit🎉🎉

Iam a chennaitee there are lot more cool stuff here . Literally it is a best city one can hang on weekend party
You should watch more of his movies!
Chennai, to say about this, we are happy about the mixed culture, but we fear tha it may ruin our culture sooner.
He lived there that is why he likes it
Chennai has the worst weather I can think of, the humidity levels are insane, and in summer, it is hell.
One can manage dry heat alone but with the humidity, hell no!
I can't believe it wasn't mentioned.
Doesn't make sense..
Many coastal cities in India and across the world have similar weather. Mumbai, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Dubai, etc.
Let it be underrated, we don't want the bangalore crowd here please 😭
I DISAGREE WITH WHAT HE SAID ABOUT LANGUAGE!! DONT CARE ABOUT HINDI...BUT PEOPLE DO NOT EVEN SPEAK ENGLISH ...EVEN IF THEY KNOW IT> PEOPLE JUST WANT EVERYONE TO SPEAK TAMIL... I have seen incidents where people know hindi and english but will not speak in those languages!!
My experience: Bangalore and Vizag people are more inclusive when it comes to immigrants from other parts of India.
You also need to understand that people in Chennai don't need to sunbathe as we are already dark 🗿🗿
It's the Victorian prudery which changed india.
Everyone is talking about cities, overated or underated, the biggest problem India will face in future is deserted villages & small towns,if this migration won't stop
It is extremely hot and humid.
In Kamasutra the second out of eight stages of love making between desiring couples comes Kissing. Nothing to worry up on.
Sorry to say this but the Auto drivers in Chennai are despicable! Only focused on fleecing customers. Literally and figuratively 'taking us for a ride'.
Chennai not underrated, city is India's top place
I dunno abt rest of india, but the undercrrent is strong so swimming is banned in main beaches of chennai. Plus the jelly fish sting
Chennai is our city ❤❤🎉🎉
My favourite place is Chennai ❤ it ..
I kinda wonder if it would be a good idea to "pause" the video while you guys chip in with your comments/observations? Cuz I've noticed in many videos over the last 2 yrs or so - you guys miss out on stuff that is still being shown or said, while you talk to each other or to the camera and then the nuances get missed.
CSK fans assemble 💛💛💛🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
(Chennai super kings )
They : *Chennai so underrated, we need more representation blah blah*
*Me as a Kolkata resident* : At least people still take your name and you don't get ignored despite being 3rd most populous metropolis, so 🤫🤫
