- A sodden Rishi Sunak had to battle both the rain and the sounds of New Labour anthem Things Can Only Get Better being blasted from beyond the Downing Street gates, as he called a July general election.

As a lifetime Tory voter since 1979 at every GE, I hate the jug-eared backstabber and the other rejected, pro-EU appointees Hunt and Cameron. I won't be voting Tory again, but no other mainstream party will see my vote either.

We have had low birth rates in western world for decades. Modern western culture is anti natal to say the least. Generations of our native populations are getting smaller all the time. In fact the UK would be in worse shape by far if it wasn't for all the immigration.

I think it was the combination of making the announcement whilst standing in the rain, together with the protestors playing the Labour campaign song in the background 'Things can only get better' 🙄 (that was annoying actually because it was really distracting, which was presumably the idea) Someone should have suggested he was filmed inside Number 10 instead;. but that will be the lasting image, of course, to start off his campaign... 😬
