I can’t get my head around this being painted with just two colours!
I couldn’t produce such subtle colour variation even with a 24 pan box. 😂
I wish I was blessed with a tiny fraction of your talent.
    Thank you for sharing. 🙏🏻

Hi Robert Karel here from America. Even though been painting a while your dry brush tip was so helpful. I was not using side of brush. I had a mentor once a very successful water colorist who I asked how he got those sparkles on the water. He answered a sparkle brush.

Hmmm that wasn't very helpful was it. A simple technique but very effective at creating texture and light. Thanks for watching 😀

Always fun to get new supplies. I like this painting a lot. The tonal contrast. The mix of earth colors. The light above the horizon reflecting on the water. It all works very nicely. Thanks and thumbs up.

yes , I would say this two colors are enough to create awesome colorful art ...
when I´m thinking about what some artists can do only with a pencil and some old masters have needed only few colors for his art ... less is sometimes more if you know how to use it very well 😃

just realised my burnt sienna is different to yours I guess you have one with gold ,red oxide, to give it a more yellowy texture .

@@RobertMeeArtist my paints come straight from a paint factory I did thinking perhaps they put yellow ochre instead of gold in their mixture and sienna has red oxide Incorporated in that colour I've learnt which are real colours and which are made up from different artists.
