Hi Bret, IT IS THAT SIMPLE. ;-) I could have made the video 2 minutes instead of 8, I wanted to show as much as possible in real time. ALSO Danny's phone call WAS NOT STAGED ;-) I ride that RT with all the bells and whistles because I have to show how it works. Personally this is the way I fly ... JUST MY PHONE. I do need to upgrade my phone so I do not have to push the home button. ONE CONNECTION ..... Then it will be totally hands free!!! We have 30K's in stock ready to ship. THANKS for the comment. Thanks very much for this video... I moved from the Scala rider setup which was easy but cumbersome to the discreet SENA 10U which has two buttons... I will try Hello SENA when I get home :-). Great video thanks
The 10U works best with the included Remote Control. The two buttons only to turn it off and on. Also the 10U is not my Favorite unit as it does not have 20S features like AudioMultitasking, 8 way intercom and a earbud port to name a few. WOW! This is a big question ;-) SENA TUBE, SENA 10C, SENA PRISM, Garmin VIRB, Studio Canon Rebel with wireless mic. Only modification I have done is added a second mic on the TUBE I use for the Momentum INC Helmet as the speaker focus is so narrow I have to put the mic INTO the speaker POD or it will not pick up at all while your head is shaking from the GREAT LOUD SOUND. Gotta be there.
This is a long question. Have sena 20, iPhone 7, and Nav VI. When I'm all connected up like you have shown, I can't get siri to come up by pushing the phone button. I can only get siri to work if the phone is not connected to the Nav, but it will work if phone is connected to Sena only. Does that make sense and is there a work around?
Richard, does the 30k not have the phone button like the 20s. On the 20s one can reach Siri on the 20 via that button as well. I didn’t know I could launch apps by voice I will have to check this out. This is the way I ride and navigate as well. By having the phone where you can press the "Home button" you can do ANYTHING like brighten the screen or send a text. YES there still is a small give and take here ...... When SENA figures out how to open SIRI with voice command of "HEY SIRI" or APPLE allows Bluetooth devices to do that it will then be PERFECT ;-) AT this time you cannot start SIRI with a Bluetooth devices voice by saying "Hey SIRI" ... push the "Home" button then you have access to SIRI. With no Bluetooth headset you just speak into the phones mic. ..... Coulda made the video longer and confused everyone in the process ;-)
But now you have a $800 Navi system doing nothing? Seems they spun off the wrong direction a little. Would love to have garmin and sena used but with zoom, voice command address destination etc. besides all those apps burn up data unless you are unlimited. Maybe most are these days.
Sounds like you have a personal problem ;-) If you want the room to be lighted up you need to turn on the switch and activate the LIGHT. ;-) Data usage IS what it is and how the world works now. A lot of this "DATA BURNING" is a myth. Personally I do not have an unlimited plan and I have NEVER used it all in one month. I will be posting a travel video with me using all these features hope that will enlighten everyone a little stay tuned ;-)
Have you found that your 30K intermittently does not respond to the "Hello Sena" voice command? Some days mine works and some days it decides to completely ignore me.

You can ... Kinda .... If you have a iPhone try "MAPS". You CAN Zoom in and Out using SIRI. Not very useful yet as it will not zoom in out out the distance you want each time ...... BUT it is on the way ;-)

@@richardbattles9122 Contacted Sena and am happy to announce that it had a faulty mount, it had a foam seal versus the rubber ones. The store swapped the mount and all is good.
YES! The mic is positioned in my "CHEEK AREA" so I can pick up my voice AND the speakers incoming audio. Check out my latest video on the SENA INC Helmet where I have the mic right up front and you will see the difference.
So I just listened to it again, not to bad to me. ;-) The audio was recorded by the SENA TUBE mic on the right side of my helmet. It was placed "between" my lips and my ear in the cheek area so it would pick up what I am saying and what I am hearing. If it seems to be bad then so be it. I did not want to splice in fake audio like some do. Thanks for the comment Ride safe.

I have an iPhone 8 and with my sena 20s I still have to press the rear button to activate siri. “Hey Siri” doesn’t work for me.

Do miss having an actual ‘proper’ home-button that you can use with gloves. (iPhone 7 onwards only has the pretend one)

You can do this with your phone inside your pocket, helmet on through your mic with Bluetooth and going down the road at 70 mph?
