Simple solution is "Either that bar is coming outta that hole or ur hand is". Both won't come out simultaneously. In this way no one has cheated and people can't really blame that it is impossible because it is possible as gold bar can fit through that hole but only without your hand. The space of hole is made exactly the diagonal size of that gold bar. It's impressive technique.
If it could be done, it would be by clamping fingers to the narrower side, thumb to the wider side, flipping it upside-down to where your thumb is facing up, and lifting the bar above the hole such that the side of the bar that you are gripping is lower than the other side. It would require incredible grip strength
No this would not work, so long as your arm is in the Hole you wont get it out. Though is one way to do it.........Super glue on your finger tips and touch the centre of the gold bar.
Pretty sure if you slapped the smaller side of the bar against the glass below the hole, then rotated it from the 6 position to the 12 (so it's above the hole), you could leverage the weight of the bar to work for you and slowly get the narrow corners to start coming thru the hole... from there I'd be interested to see what happened.
7:36 this seems like a good technique. if he rotated the bar upside down before that, he might have gotten some extra space for the longer base to pass through the center of the circle (i.e. he might have gotten some extra centimeter of height to work with. Obviously, it's much easier said from here, than done IRL :D

The thing that makes this version almost impossible is the fact that in the other videos I found the hole was placed at such a distance that the bar was tall enough to lean against the hole. But the hole in this video is much higher
I think i know how it could be done. Align the bar under wrist w the hand holding the bar further in the box. The width of the bar under the width of the wrist so that the height is less. Pull one end of the bar out as the wrist slides back out. When the edge of the bar and wrist meet together sticking out of the hole use the other hand to pull the bar through while releasing the wrist holding the bar in the box. Lastly pull your hand back through the hole.
Grab it with your 4 fingers of the narrow side and your thumb on the wide side. Once you have grabbed it, rotate your arm 180° so that you are looking up at the bar. Slide your arm out at a 45° upward angle. When you get to the hole, slide your thumb to one side and your pinky finger to the other to extract your prize. I watched an 83 year old grandmother do this.
Maybe they have to hold it with the wider area on top and hold it with your palm facing upward fully stuck at the bottom side. Don't know if I explained it well haha but I wanna try

It needs to be held by the tips of your fingers with the lower, wider part to go halfway through the whole. You could either hold it upside down which is better for grip or like that one guy you can slide it up.

To get it out the hole the fingers and the wrist will have to hold most of the weight . To grab the bar with the entire hand will make it impossible for the bar to fit through the hole . Strong fingers gripping on the bar is the only chance of getting the bar through the hole . Do finger push ups and weight plates wrist curls to strengthen the fingers and the wrist .
You tilt it upright with the taper of the top facing away from the hole. Having just your fingers under it slide it against the plastic letting it fall away slightly and the bar can come out the hole. You need real strong fingers to slowly support the bar. Keeping the weight against the plastic and on the plastic in the hole. Friction against the plastic is your friend here.

This is absolutely impossible. Even if you have crazy hand strength and grip you physically cannot take your hand out with the bar. I doubt the bar itself can even fit through the hole. Edit: to the people saying it has been won before, you can't just say "well they won it in this country" and expect that to be a standard to all these challenges... the one in Dubai that has been won before for instance is a significantly smaller, thinner bar. So you're comparing apples to oranges.

What if the top glass piece lifts up from inside the glass box by using the gold bar to lift it up? The question to ask is : How did they put the gold bar in the box in the 1st place? The answer is in the lid or the black base...OR- To break the glass with the gold bar. Lol
It can be done.. you have to lift it above the hole and guide it through as gravity is pulling it down. Must work on finger and hand strength first... You will only have to worry about the first 3 inches as it will rest in the hole.

All we need is me with strong fingers. Make sure you have strong fingers especially thump and index ones. Sometime it's possible to use the middle finger too. You keep the other 3 fingers closed and grab the gold bar and glide it out. The hole is just enough for the bar to slide in leaving only a cm on top and 1.5 cm on bottom or vice versa. So practice practice and practice.
Unless you put your diamond ring against that "glass" and smash it with a hammer its impossible. Unless that's plastic and I could get that bar out with a butane lighter. With your hand it's clearly impossible

It's for the strongest hands not the average contender. It's all in grip strength using your fingers and strong consistent pressure to keep the bar as stable as possible. You are working against gravity with a hole that is just big enough to fit all 4 corners and the average person's muscle strength and control. A recipe for a challenge. The guy in the 2nd clip at 1:30 was the closest to getting it figured out, I should say he did figure it out he knew exactly what he was trying to do but the execution was not up to speed with his plan of attack.
Basically the angled bar is what makes this possible, as damn near impossible as it looks it is possible with the right execution. The bottom edge of the bar was sticking out of the hole at 1min 30, dare I say enough for a quick strong grip on the bottom of the bar as soon as your grip of the second hand hits the bar you let go of the side of the bar with your original hand and if you use your body and swing down with your squat you'll raise the bar, doing this fast but smoothly and as soon as it's as straight as it could even possibly be back up hopefully enough alignment happened to get the top edge to come out of the hole. It's a game of stability, the just right speed, quick reflexes, grip strength of the fingers, not really the hand or the upper arm specifically the fingers flexibility and tendon strength and the control of the firing of the forearm muscles and relaxing the upper arm and shoulder keeping the 2nd hands elbow tucked into the body for stability. I used to love solving these types of puzzles as a kiddo, and now as an adult I work with body mechanics, grip strength and strong hands/arms to deliver some of the deepest therapeutic massage possible yet I am tiny and no one expects the pressure I can deliver just by first appearances and it's not even about having strong arms it's about using body weight, angles, body movements to deliver my working pressure and flow. This is what a game that needs body mechanics looks like. Another cheat way is to just simply lay on top of the box and use more of your arm strength than hand and finger strength.

Yes use the plastic glass to help support it up and out not your hand so much. It’s heavy as crap for sure but it can come fit thru that hole. 🤷🏽♀️

It can be done.. you have to lift it above the hole and guide it through as gravity is pulling it down. Must work on finger and hand strength first... You will only have to worry about the first 3 inches as it will rest in the hole.

All we need is me with strong fingers.
Make sure you have strong fingers especially thump and index ones.
Sometime it's possible to use the middle finger too.
You keep the other 3 fingers closed and grab the gold bar and glide it out.
The hole is just enough for the bar to slide in leaving only a cm on top and 1.5 cm on bottom or vice versa.
So practice practice and practice.

1st - we have no idea if the gold can really fit through the hole
2nd - if it could then think 🤔 how does one get the gold bar out if their fingers and hand prevent the gold bar from coming out. I think this is an impossible task sent to humor people
It's for the strongest hands not the average contender. It's all in grip strength using your fingers and strong consistent pressure to keep the bar as stable as possible. You are working against gravity with a hole that is just big enough to fit all 4 corners and the average person's muscle strength and control. A recipe for a challenge. The guy in the 2nd clip at 1:30 was the closest to getting it figured out, I should say he did figure it out he knew exactly what he was trying to do but the execution was not up to speed with his plan of attack.
Basically the angled bar is what makes this possible, as damn near impossible as it looks it is possible with the right execution. The bottom edge of the bar was sticking out of the hole at 1min 30, dare I say enough for a quick strong grip on the bottom of the bar as soon as your grip of the second hand hits the bar you let go of the side of the bar with your original hand and if you use your body and swing down with your squat you'll raise the bar, doing this fast but smoothly and as soon as it's as straight as it could even possibly be back up hopefully enough alignment happened to get the top edge to come out of the hole. It's a game of stability, the just right speed, quick reflexes, grip strength of the fingers, not really the hand or the upper arm specifically the fingers flexibility and tendon strength and the control of the firing of the forearm muscles and relaxing the upper arm and shoulder keeping the 2nd hands elbow tucked into the body for stability. I used to love solving these types of puzzles as a kiddo, and now as an adult I work with body mechanics, grip strength and strong hands/arms to deliver some of the deepest therapeutic massage possible yet I am tiny and no one expects the pressure I can deliver just by first appearances and it's not even about having strong arms it's about using body weight, angles, body movements to deliver my working pressure and flow. This is what a game that needs body mechanics looks like. Another cheat way is to just simply lay on top of the box and use more of your arm strength than hand and finger strength.
