First, I love this channel and your truck. I got a Yukon Denali with a 408 stroker coming out of my guy’s shop within a couple weeks. I gotta few questions about how you race this thing bro. 1. Is this a stock 4l65e? 2. Do you race in tow mode? (I hear it holds the gears longer) 3. When you race from a dig do you downshift from drive to first or do you take off in first? 4. Do you take stabilitrack or traction control off? 5. How many miles do you have on your truck (mine has 111K on drivetrain and body) Thanks I plan on racing mine as soon as it comes out especially against some 392s.
Appreciate the love, the tranny is stock at the moment, i will have some work done with in a week or 2, its a stock 65e.. the first race was in drive and i gave him the hit. Chase was a race, and the second race i raced in gears, in a dig i drop the gear down to 1st gear and change 55mph... thats how many tune and rpms are, anything higher my rpms will hit thw rev limiter, 2nd gear ends at 90mph. I dont use tow/haul mode. Im not a fan of rolls with this stall, its to big, but if i do i leave it in first and repeat the same as a dig
@@AngelGarcia-up6jh yes stock heads right now, stock intake, im having some 243s ported and polished right now, and im going to thru on a dorman intake. Supposedly the fast intake clone, we will see how it does, and for exhaust i have long tube headers, no cats, carven tr series out to a single stock tip, im going have that worked on too , going to hve electric cut outs put on run some tips out the side
I'm not to sure on the hp, if I'd have to take a guess, it would be close to 400. And tires on was 265/70 on stock 17s.. I have some 22inch Escalade wheels going on here soon, I have 285/45 for them
I have a 2006 GMC YUKON DENALI AWD 6.0 stage 2 cam long tube headers msd wires and tuned and getting my transmission build will make around 680hp you think itll be fast for my first project truck
@@JOSERODRIGUEZ-zq5ib might keep up with an old srt8. Not the new ones.. my wife has a 2019 charger Rt.. it ran half a second faster than my Denali, but that was my old set up, this video was my old set up too.. now I have better stall, built trans, shift kit, Corvette servo, whole top end up graded, maybe I can keep up with it now, but the newer srt8s.. are monsters. They have launch control and all that. So they dont spin they just hook it and book it.. I raced an srt10 single cab, thinking it was gonna spin and I would be to far out for him to real me in, he caught and was out of my life, and it was a 2004 srt10

How much horsepower u pushing??
I’ve never got it dynoed. Since it’s awd there isn’t many options here. But if I had to guess. Maybe 350-370 at the wheel
Bro en esta carrera ya tienes ws camshaft??
Simon. Aqui en esta no mas la cam y la stall. “Torque converter “
