@@MakeSushi1 Yes, we made the spicy mayo and even went to an Asian market here in OKC to get the correct mayo. It is amazing. He's been practicing. We haven't tried the eel sauce but I'm going to get the ingredients so he can. The stuff we've bought he calls "seal sauce" just because he thinks it's hilarious that someone might believe him that it's made from seals.
yeah the base is very similar, the difference would be the eel bones and eel stock in a full eel sauce, and a real teriyaki could have strong chicken stock and some garlic in it.
I love these recipes, thank you. What's also interesting is how you pronounce the mayo. In Australia, we call it like the letters 'Q-P', the same as the doll. Looking forward to more videos.
All three come out delicious. THANKS!!! I also much appreciated your kewpie mayo copycat video. Would you do a copycat of kewpie's roasted sesame seed dressing?
I don't think there is a limit to what you could put this on, mainly sushi rolls/sushi battles ships, plate decoration...ect just try these on things and see how it tastes.
Awesome video. I knew how make the first 2 sauces. The mango sauce I will certainly try. Which fish do you recommend the mango sauce with? And please make more sauce videos I really want to step up my sushi with new sauces.
I like the mayo recipe..though I'm more likely to use it for a dipping sauce for karaage which means I don't need such a large amount..same ingredients but a smaller size will do me fine since I would never go through that much spicy mayo in a week.
Show us make some Harushami tempura... I hope spelled that word right.... And thanks for sharing your knowledge.. I have been enjoying your shows .."Thumbs up"
How do you know it's the Japanese Kewpie mayo? Also, I'm sure you could keep the bottle in the fridge for a lot longer than a week. Mayo is something you can keep in the fridge for months after opening, so is Sriracha...
Thanks to you Виталий Борщов for watching my video, please take a second to share this video. Спасибо вам, Виталий Борщов, за просмотр моего видео, пожалуйста, подождите секунду, чтобы поделиться этим видео..
A Sushi Soya soysauce preparation will be more like this video I made: Soy Sauce For Sushi (Sushi Making Secrets) ruclips.net/video/wZYN7nG_Xg8/видео.html The one shown in this three sauce video is more some thing you drizzle over food, rather than dipping your sushi into it
One thing I don't understand is the ubiquitous wooden bowl for cooling off the sushi. If the goal is to cool the rice rapidly, why not use a metal bowl. I understand that vinegar is acidic, so I just don't leave it in the metal bowl, and rinse it off immediately. Or does it even matter? I got the same great results. Or is the wooden bowl just for presentation and just looks cool? What am I missing here?
Teacher, could you please teach how to make Teriyaki source ? Why the teriyaki source I make is a little bitter ? Is it because of overcooked the sugar ? Thanks for your valuable comments!
That’s really easy! Thank you so much.. My only problem with making sushi though is to make the crispy pits for decorations. I don’t know what I did wrong
Holy shit. Is this the recipe I gave up looking for a while ago? Haha. Is this what must be used in the "spicy" rolls? Like spicy avocado roll, spicy broccoli roll, etc.? Except sometimes I think there's bits of crispy tempura in there too. Thanks man.
Do you know what the white sauce is that can come on top of sushi rolls sometimes?? Some people say that it's just Japanese mayo but the one I had wasn't it was a nearly pure white sauce that was sweet.
I used about 2/3 pickled sushi ginger juice & 1/3 rice vinegar for the mango sauce. Ginger hits you first followed by the sweet mango👌Thank you!
My 13 year old son and I are embarking on learning to make sushi. Love this channel.
Awesome, sorry I didn’t see this before… considering its been 10 months, how did your sushi making go? Did you try making any of these sauces?

Thanks a lot Jake Vellla for liking my video and good luck for trying it out, also please share this video with your subscribers.
How to use sauce? Only for dipping or mixing with sushi?
That “eel sauce” is like a basic teriyaki glaze. Equal part sugar, Mirin, soy sauce
yeah the base is very similar, the difference would be the eel bones and eel stock in a full eel sauce, and a real teriyaki could have strong chicken stock and some garlic in it.
I like Eel Sauce
Teriyaki has ginger and garlic.
I love these recipes, thank you. What's also interesting is how you pronounce the mayo. In Australia, we call it like the letters 'Q-P', the same as the doll. Looking forward to more videos.
Thanks a lot for watching the videos Adam and thanks for the tip, also please share this video with your subscribers.
It's pronounced 'QP' mayo. He's just saying it weird. His accent is different. He softens his 'r' sounds too. He weighed it in "gwams".
Thanks I wanted to tell him the same thing.. it is Q-P not Q-pie Like the Q-P doll on the label.
Thank you very much for the help sir 👌🏾
Oh, yes. This is what I wanted.
Thanks for this. I'm gonna have fun this week. :-)
I'm glad you enjoyed it Harpo! and have fun with this over the week 😁

@@MakeSushi1 Mango sauce 😋
😄👍
Never knew other Kewpie mayo existed apart from the original Kewpie from Japan.
Murdered the mango 😂 if you press the very edge of the skin against a water glass it will scoop the whole inside out relatively easy
Have you made a shiso leaf sauce? Maybe combine with cucumber and ume paste for that classic taste.
I never actually made a shiso leaf sauce, you just made my brain start fluttering with ideas, lol
Thanks for upload such a nice video
