What a team and what an era! We won the League Cup in 1991, and we could have won the league in 1992, and the FA Cup and League Cup in 1993 as well. Football and life was a lot better back then! Hopefully after being over twenty years out of it, that the Owls get back into the top flight in the not too distant future. With the way modern football has gone though, i doubt that we'll see Sheffield Wednesday enjoy an era like that again. Firing Trevor Francis, and getting rid of Big Ron in 1998 and replacing him with Danny Wilson, proved to be very costly decisions in the end.

Remember the season before when we got promoted I only missed 2 games all season. We would have won the league if we didn’t draw so many games. Always remember the yellow away shirt still being sold today. The support was amazing especially the away support.
Not an owls fan but really enjoyed this and Wednesday so belong in the prem doesn't seem right them not being there it's been many moons but still feels wrong

He said we signed Chris Woods for 1.2 million .. 30 years later we can’t afford that sort of money for an out field player let alone a Goal Keeper

I was around 11 - very inspirational period for a kid. We'll never see those years again!
