Asta (The MC) was an orphan from birth and he was born with literally no magic (which doesn't happen ever) and his foster brother Yuno (his rival that is consistently fistbumping) is what you would call a Prodigy at magic. They both have the same goal which is to become the Wizard King (The magical commander of their home kingdom). This show is a top 5 for me, I highly recommend it to everyone!
I really didn’t find him annoying in the manga, but the voice direction in the anime was unbearable. I may try to pick it up again if the voice direction improved after the first few episodes. Or maybe try the dub.
14:10 yeah pretty much u guessed it right (at least so far as the story goes in the manga) bcs there are heard some other rumours by guys that are trying to break up the story and the plot twists of the anime that are saying that its quite deeper than that that asta might have had magic or might still have but he probably doesn't have mana thats pretty much the starting point of magic , like u can create magic by mana but not mana by magic something like that , and there are some other theories too , about some hybrid shts and stuff well don't wanna spoil u ,altho kinda hard to get spoiled without having watched the anime or these guys that break up the story and try to predict how it goes but tis quite cool how far this story in this universe can go is has huge potential , lets see
also u shall watch it , its really one of the best anime at there atm , along with other huge anime such as MHA , or JJK or demon slayer , its literally up there and really worth to watch it
I really recommend watching black clover, it’s my all time favorite, it’s really fun and cool I need to warn you first. The first episodes have bad voice acting from the protagonist, so many people give up in the beginning, and the animation is also not that good, however, please hang on because it only gets better, and the story is very interesting to keep up with, and all characters are very charismatic and well developed, I hope you like it It has some references to Harry Potter, but not that much Also, the books that always show are the grimoires. They’re magical books everyone has that increases their magical power and contains their spells
I really recommend Black Clover because of how beautifully written and nostalgic it is. Also, Black Clover shares elements similar with more shonen animes(not just Naruto), but it still manages to do it in a very unique and enjoyable way. People will go on and say "It's like Naruto", but if you actually watch the show, you'll understand why their stories and powers are very different. Anyway, thank you for the reaction!

Just be prepared, the show has a LOT of bloat and wasted time on recaps. About 5 mins in every episode is wasted on the intro+recap of the last episode+backstory of the entire show. It honestly killed my enjoyment for the show my wearing me down after 50 episodes of that bs. I've since come back and am pushing through because there is a lot to love imo, but the constant repetition of those recaps is frustrating. I can't imagine how much worse it would be if you were watching the episodes as they come out. (lot of filler too)
