I just installed this system. it works perfect. The installation instruction they provided is extremely useful. Remember to read that before start. My original sync is working fine, as well as my 360 camera. It took me a while to figure out the wireless apple carplay though. The unit is excellent.
Have a question, does it have FordPass and Remote start? Does it keep the Sync functions? Sound quality? Not seeing many answers here. The YuLu E10 does all of that and have many questions answered. Just want to know what this offers UPDATE: So this company is super responsive. Sent an email and had every question answered with 15mins? Maybe sooner. and it was not a can response either. With my questions answered, I pulled the trigger. Looking at another video, they actually retain the SYNC module and piggyback it onto their system. GENIUS. Ford Pass, Remote start, all retained. Actually, with the SYNC module being installed, everything is kept. Looking forward to getting the system and putting it in my 20 Harley.
I purchased this for my 2020 Ford Expedition. I'm located in North Carolina pricing was really good, and shipping was within a week, I had it installed today and all my Sync 3 features are still there and nothing is changed, all my presets are still there, and the Bluetooth connectivity is great and best of all, for me, my XM radio is still there. I had the Linkswell system but they couldn't get approval for the XM adapter, along with losing my Sync 3 it was an easy switch.
It has been working pretty good. All the stock functions from the steering wheel are still operating as they should. There have been some connectivity issues between the the T-style and the Sync 3 systems. They seem to be competing for connections. I found it best to shut off my blue tooth on the phone and let the T-style have full control from the wifi in my truck. I absolutely love the functions. I can pull up the camera systems at my home or full scale weather and navigation maps. Pandora and all the other related apps from Google Play through the T-style. One thing I've done which I prefer is using the Nova7 launcher as my home screen. Much better than either of the 2 options which come factory with the tablet. @@MARKXHWANG
I absolutely love it. It's a bit finicky with its software system. It loads certain pages at random. For instance it will activate the FORD sync 3 screen on start up which I then have to close. After a while it stops doing that and chooses another one to open..Pandora or my aviation weather app. Overall it's an amazing screen and really helpful for my line of work to keep my eyes up on the road and not looking at google maps on my phone. My wife absolutely loves being able to watch her u-tube while we drive. I really enjoy the set up.@@tyrelthibault5264
How about a video showing the install? Also how does youtube or netflix crop look like because when you played the VCL video it was horrible and way too zoomed in, it cut off majority of the video. Another thing is, does voice control still work? If I use google maps, can I press the microphone button and speak adress? Also how fast is boot up time from when the car is started to the system full running?
Okay I'm not even a radio installer dude and I did it by myself and it was literally plug and play I didn't have to hook up no wiring or nothing it just all plugged in and went. So it's pretty easy and the dash comes apart in my truck real easy. The only problem I have is I can't get the sound to come back I lost the sound and then every once in a while the sound will come back and everything is working great I'll shut the truck off starting back up no sound I'm like what the fuck
I watched the video, but did not see where the heated steering wheel control is located. Is it back on the original sync screen or has it migrated to another menu?
You can swipe up on the climate control bar and it brings up all the heating cooling for the seats and steering wheel. You can also access from the original sync menu. I installed in 2015 F250.
So I bought this unit. Its pretty nice. Few things though. When I chose the modern look, almost all of it was in chineese and I could not change it. Also my Android auto keeps auto starting, and the wireless connection does not work. Few other bugs I am trying to work out.
I love the unit for the most part, but I still can't get Netflix video to play full screen. It plays zoomed and cropped, and there don't seem to be any adjustments for it.

I have a 2015 F-150 that originally came with Sync 2. I have upgraded the system to a Sync 3 from a 2016, so it's all Ford components, just from 2016. Would I order a Sync 3 version for this then?
I have a 2013 king ranch and had sync 2 and upgraded to sync 3. Now I want this Unit and in all my research everyone tells me I have to use the factory oem sync2 module and not the upgraded sync3 module. Unfortunately, I must have tossed my old sync2 unit because I can't find it and now must order a replacement preprogrammed sync2 module off ebay. But....this is gonna look sick in my truck.

I purchased this unit back in Feb. A few things that buyers need to know. First, this thing runs Android 10, not 11. The display is not QHD, its 1920x1200. The Console app used to display the SYNC interface lacks a power button for the radio, so it's ALWAYS ON. If you plan on rooting it, forget about it. They removed all ADB (wired and wireless) protocols and USB file transfer protocols are limited to music files and software updates. The lack of physical buttons prevents any ability to navigate the bootloader.

I just bought this unit from these guys for a 2015 F250. Installed mine in about 1 hour, lots of plugs but they only fit one way, do need to take care to tuck the wires in, but no hard to do. I can’t figure out how to watch videos yet. I use iPhone. Service from the company is good, they communicate quickly.

I was looking for that too. I assume it must be accessed in the original Sync system. Not a big deal since I leave it on all winter anyway.

Yes this system supports the full screen mode. You can adjust it from the video playback application.
