This is one of my favorite episodes of the KFP in recent memory. The 1-2 punch of Barrett's genuinely sweet & touching restaurant outing story, and Mike+Andy's hysterical disruption, (starting around 53:00) is one of the very best moments in the history of the podcast, no doubt. Love the combo of Bless+Mike+Andy+Barrett,, w/ Greg just barely keeping the wheels on, lol.
I would lose my mind trying to deal with Mike, lol.
What is it about Mike that allows him to be so likeable despite being so bizarre and bad at some common courtesy stuff or common social norms stuff? I feel like if other people were to just ditch friends at the club or refuse to wear pants to a restaurant, people would just stop wanting to hang out with that guy, but with Mike it somehow makes you want to hang out with him more.
Takes a certain type of person to put up with it lol, I assume his friends just tailor their expectations when it comes to him. I love hearing about the wild and childish shit Mike does, so I like Mike; but if I were friends with Mike, I would not like Mike lmao.
I can’t express how phenomenal of an addition Mike is to the team. This man needs to be president
