I now think I need to see Henry hoon around in one of the high downforce race spec Sierra Cars in the US… I believe they run with a similar Sadev sequential ? They are absolute beasts !
Just when I think you guys can't deliver anymore lol. That intro is a monster, filmography is top tier and Henry Catchpole is probably the best there is as a presenter online. He's probably on the top of a list which includes names like Chris Harris
No disrespect to the other presenters, who do a fine job in their own style and certainly don’t let the channel down, but for me, Catchpole is Carfection personified. I’m glad that Atom produce nutty vehicles too.
This channel is kicking the arse out of Top Gear now, congratulations on the professional production and amazing cinematography. Mr Catchpole, you da man!
This man and his team who film, produce and edit these videos unquestionabley make the best automotive media on the Internet. Beautiful, cinematic, informative. Thank you.
The Nomad has always been a wild vehicle, one that holds pole position in my dream garage, but then turning around and converting that into a straight-cut-gear road monster is absolutely bonkers. It's not a pure driver's car, or a track car, or a supercar, it's just a truly singular tiny monster. I would rather have the Nomad, for a whole host of reasons, but good lord is the R a wonderful Thing.
Another cracking video! - Had me chuckling at 'Father Christmas down the chimney method.' Crazy machine, Ariel have been a dream of mine for a long time but even the original Atoms are still holding such strong values! This thing's on another planet though!
catchpole and Porsche. at the top of their game, have been for ages, continue to amaze and keep distancing themselves from the competition. well done guys
God that looks like sooooooo much fun..Also carfection, as always, is on another level in terms of the production quality. Catchpole's talent, of course, needs no comment. Unreal content thank you guys and congrats on 1 mill!
I adore this car - it really brings home the feeling that it is alive. I love the trinkets about it. Normally trinkets refer to bling or a restomod but these trinkets are suspension arms or shocks, tyres, seats - that sort of thing. If I could pick a car - any car - just to enjoy for a day, I think I'd pick this...
Fully agree! Such a refreshing change from the bloated almost obscene supercars popping up everywhere now. Digital dashboard looks a little low-rent though. Interesting to see how narrow the tyre contact patch is under sideways load.
Another great review and video, thanks. I've thought for a while now, that money-no-object, this would be my number 1 pick for a fun vehicle to have tucked in a garage. But, having watched this, I think I need to go on a diet!
Without bring rude these Ariel's are just some scaffolding with an engine. Joking aside, I imagine these are as close as a car gets to offering a similar experience to a go kart with the added benefit of suspension travel, they seem really raw and I love to try one someday.
Very cool track car, i bet it would do a decent time round the nurburgring, might not have the top speed but cornering may give it a chance against other track cars.
Purely awesome. A set of larger injectors, an upper s/c pulley and a remap would see this to 480-500bhp on shell v-power, internals can take it. Review ain't bad either, keep it up.
I can't express how much I like this car as a concept and execution. Someone made an Electric version of it, that no-one got to test. I was a better done electric version. To discretely crawl through sleepy vollages and blast over rally stages. Yeah I'll run rally wheels. For how light it is, I think it ought to be faster than heavy rally cars but stock, it isn't. An EV version could be AWD, even motor for each wheel. Use 1/3 the battery pack of a Tesla Plaid suffices, 1/2 would be a riot. Many motors on the market to make fit. I'd actually like to commission a 110-120% scale Nomad. Space in the floor and between the seats for the battery, room on the front for motors, room in the back for good cargo space. Proper rally raid wheels. And still, under 1000 kg if I get my way with it. 335-500 hp depending on what the battery can live with. And hey, if we can fit 1/3 a Rimac Nevera battery, 40 kWh and 640 hp...that''s be sweet. Maybe add a bit of bodywork and downforce.
I love the idea of this car, but perplexingly there's better answers for the unasked question, some of which come from Ariel's own catalog. The original nomad could be a fun dune machine, but then you have actual dune buggies, side by sides, etc. You have corner carvers that have a bit more utility. You have track-exclusive cars with more capability. So, who's going to buy these other than die hard brand loyalists?
I think I might have found my "Extreme Dream Car". How the hell am I going to be one of the damn lucky 5 bastards to own this? I'll just drool and maybe some yoga.
after top gear you guys have the best production value hands down. I must say I wasn't convinced by the video thumbnail though. Once I noticed carfection was the one posting it I clicked it. Don't wanna be negative, just want to give my thoughts.
Sensorial overload is one way of describing that type of experience. It takes a physical toll on the body and mind to operate something like that. It should come with a million dollar refund to supplement the damage and length of time it’s taking off your life. Due mainly to the cortisol and adrenaline levels going through the roof as they wreck havoc on cellular and synaptic function.
Terrific well made film but I can’t help feeling a touch of Emperors new Clothes about the car. Nobody ever mentions the fact that, as much as I appreciate the stripped back ruggedness of the Nomad , it is really awful looking. Even the desert raid buggies have more visual appeal. Also I’m pretty sure a better solution could be found to the climbing in through the roof situation.
We hope you like this new cinematic version of our Nomad R film. Bit of a treat to thank you all for helping us hit ONE MILLION Subscribers.
We will :D. No problem :)
I now think I need to see Henry hoon around in one of the high downforce race spec Sierra Cars in the US… I believe they run with a similar Sadev sequential ? They are absolute beasts !
I really want these. I wish they could make a daily drivable fully enclosed one.
Enjoying these 21:9 videos SOOOOO much! Keep it up please!
THIS IS GENIOUS .........ARIEL DEFEAT THE LOWS OF///////////LOGIC////////////// GOODBLESS MEN BEHIND THIS PROJECT.
Carfection reviews with Mr Henry Catchpole are the best thing you can find in youtube. Amazing quality and editing, good job guys🙌
Rory at Autotrader is awesome too! Amazing cinematography there, check it out

Alex Goy?
Agreed.
Damn! I was thinking exactly the same thing!
Another incredible video Mr Catchpole. The number of RUclipsrs stepping their production level up to Top Gear era is truly remarkable.
seeing the fog roll over the hood of the Nomad R definitely gave me Top Gear flashbacks
Better than Top Gear - The reviewers are honest and unbiased.
the filmography on this channel is second to none and Catchpole is the best car reviewer on youtube
Shame the audio is literally the worst
@@Bearly7feettall Brother hes driving a roll cage shush
@@fredericoespinoza your comment is totally irrelevant
@@Bearly7feettall like your entire life and bloodline.
@@fredericoespinoza well duh, why would my life be relevant to you. 🤣☠️☠️

The cinematic editing definitely suits this Ariel perfectly 😃👍

whoever does the audio needs to be kicked off a bridge. Unbearable.
Looks like it’s easily one of the most intense cars to drive. Should come with a heart rate monitor
Incredible film!!
Really loved this Cinematic Version

Holy sh*t the editing on this one. 🔥

Big thumbs up for the very fitting Blackadder quote
Genious ending. Really brought the feels! 😂 Highest class editing and quality as usual.

Driving it somewhere like Spain…then absolutely! Although I’d put skinnier tyres on for more fun at slower speeds. All just pipe dreams for me though
Fully agree! Such a refreshing change from the bloated almost obscene supercars popping up everywhere now. Digital dashboard looks a little low-rent though. Interesting to see how narrow the tyre contact patch is under sideways load.
Black Adder for the win! Brilliant car and video, too.
The ending is just hilarious 🤣 A brilliant review 👍🏼
Bonkers and wonderful. Well done Ariel.
great video, vibrant on my system with the big speakers and sub. Thanks Henry
A skittish, buzzing, tingling car or motorcycle is the best high ever!!
Best cinematic start i've ever seen! you guys are amazing.
amazing film.. big up to the whole team. this car is nuts... the lovechild of a supermoto and a super seven.
Filmed in my home, the Rhondda Valleys!! Amazing!
This intro is absolutely epic. Chills on my spine...
What a fantastic video, absolutely loved it, 😊.
Monster video, truly consistent with the car's performance
Great video again! Any thoughts about re-visiting caterham?
This is topgear tier camerawork and editing. Absolutely fantastic
Awesome work guys!
Great work Henry another fantastic video sir thanks and congrats one million subscribers 😀
Mad max ......for sure..
🤔 not my tastes but drfo crazy 😜
Epic video as ever..quality..😎
Amazing intro Great video as always and that nomad absolutely mental driving on a seat your pants
Certainly a step above and easily produced as a Maverick Top Gun sequel. Well done!
This is fantastic on an ultrawide monitor. Cheers!
I would not have thought the atom was to be outdone. But good grief! Just look at this beauty! Great vid guys! Thanks for the view of the next ariel!
Another great review and video, thanks. I've thought for a while now, that money-no-object, this would be my number 1 pick for a fun vehicle to have tucked in a garage. But, having watched this, I think I need to go on a diet!
Kewl toy though I did notice the bouncy bit straight away. Different strokes, great vid.
Absolutely love this!
As someone with a 21:9 widescreen monitor, thank you!
I literally hold my breath while watching this video. What a stunning car
This is the best Donald Sutherland movie I've seen in ages...
Beautifully shot 👍🏻
Absolutely stunning
Where was this shot absolutely fantastic work !
Ahh finally something fun for NYC roads
This is really awesome
It looks and sounds like so much fun
Like a prodigy video at the start I was waiting for the drop.
Without bring rude these Ariel's are just some scaffolding with an engine.

Ariel. The brand who keep me dreamin since I discovered them. One day they will be homologuated in Swiss. I swear
I'm not sure what to go for first 😂 yoga or a nomad. Amazing video
It's mad... But we're never going to survive unless we get a little bit crazy!
Sounds like the type of vehicle constantly daring you to push it to the limits until you exceed them.
Following on on the heels of all the remastered albums, remastered youtube clips! haha
I need one of these, it’s pretty much useless at the place I live, but I just need it
All the way from crewkerne!
Very cool track car, i bet it would do a decent time round the nurburgring, might not have the top speed but cornering may give it a chance against other track cars.
Very cool intro! 👍
God I want an aerial so bad. Of all the super/hyper cars aerial is the only car I want.
Purely awesome. A set of larger injectors, an upper s/c pulley and a remap would see this to 480-500bhp on shell v-power, internals can take it. Review ain't bad either, keep it up.
It's mad already. why would it need more power?
Best intro ever
Henry basically described a super naked motorcycle. And they are much cheaper than the Nomad R. So, yes, I would have it in my garage, if I could.
I really don't like the aesthetics of this or the Atom, but the idea is brilliant, I'd love to drive one!
Love it, love it and love it…in short it’s a weapon 👍
Cinematic 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🎉🎉🍾
This very car for sale at Romans currently. About £100k. If we all chip in 10p carfection can buy it.
Rusty shifter bolts!!!
I'm awaiting the 'souped' up one, Gonad!

I'd like a gull wing door fully enclosed version.
you say its the most intense car you've driven and its not even h pattern. i want one now
Where in Wales do we think this is? Looks like the south to me
Rhondda valleys! Bwlch, Rhigos and I even spotted Ystrad, up towards Penrhys!
One of my dream cars
It has paddle shifters, a clutch paddle but sounds like automatic.... what is it?
after top gear you guys have the best production value hands down.
I must say I wasn't convinced by the video thumbnail though.
Once I noticed carfection was the one posting it I clicked it.

Left foot braking? My MAN!
Where was this filmed?
hope to see an off-road video of this.

I'm having a deja-vu, have I seen this video already?
Why isn't there any lumbar support? Sounds like an unforgivable omission, to me. How hard is it to make half-decent seats?
One of these with skinny rear tyres = lot’s of sideways fun 🤩
It looks like taken directly from a Mad Max movie. 🙂
Is this re-uploaded video?
Is there a Catchpole coffee table book? I've got 100 that I can give for that. Hardcover.
This left me with a huge grin, I would love one, just the thing for the boring electric madness be forced on the motoring enthusiast
Blackadder quote ftw
Where is this filmed / what road? Amazing.
3:58, 4 kilometers away from Treherbert U.K.
straight out of Mad Max..
A 4-wheeled motorbike - just what I've been waiting for...
A quad bike on steroids

I don’t know why you guys don’t move down to the Rhondda Valleys
Yes
