Hammer bearings in on the outer race. not the inner. Couldn't you get some weld in somewhere. Not sure friction fit will hold, does it get warm during riding ?

No es recomendable golpear sobre la bancada del torno ,no es muy profesional usar cómo bigornia la plataforma del torno, ya que lo descalibran los golpes sobre la bancada nunca hay que hacerlo para eso existen los yunques y bigornias

At first I thought it was cast iron but during machining you can see it's some 'backyard' casting with a lot of steel in cast iron? The repair was quite well done but whoever put the bearings back in had no clue what they were doing as bashing on the centre race while trying to fit the outer will damage balls and races

Вообще, можно было сделать внутрений диаметер ~0,2мм меньше, нагреть саму деталь, охладив при этом ту, что он крутил, и посадить их тем самым намертво. Подшипник он конечно тоже, на все 5+ вколотил, долбя по внутреннему кольцу, а не как надо, по внешнему. В общем, "умельцы" ещё те..
Why not? It's how steering bearings are fitted on bicycles and some motorcycles (Harley Davidson use an 'external bearing cup' and they are a lot heavier ) If it had been made with some known grade of mild steel I wouldn't have any issues with it particularly as the area where sprocket carrier runs will be much stronger than the original

To much work for a cheap part. Better buy a new one, it would last very much and cost more cheaper in the long run. Bearing installation is wrong, hit the outer race not the inside one.
For me, i'd rather buy a new one. in my place, rear wheel hub not that expensive. fixing a broken one on lathe machine & wled it. migh cost more than the price of a new one. but, if it's almost impossible to get a new one, i'll think to lahte it
Nice job...but The hub made by manufacturer is not a perfect round, it's wiggling. That's why it cracked while using.. it will be damaged when it is used again. ✌️

There was no need to machine the motorcycle's hub, just graft it with solder and then finish it on the lathe.
Must be threaded inside with left thread and installed with double ball bearings even new hub must be convert to double ball bearings
