I teach 6th grade science and it’s so hard to find content creators who do the same! I also teach leadership so I know what it’s like to have a multi purpose room 😂 love your classroom setup, especially the “talk like a scientist” poster!!
My favorite part of the video was actually the advertisement and I went right out and bought some of the glasses. Lol it’s nice to look at your room and hear you say yeah this bin has some stuff in it and keep going and get another bin and what I’m going to do this later on. Many times when you watch classroom videos, everything is so perfectly done and ready to go and yours is really much more like a Practical teaching classroom.
Thank you for sharing your awesome classroom! You inspired me to buy a paper lantern and find/make a poster that says work hard and be kind. The peanut butter jar cracked me up. I always have one in my room. The giant calendar, no name area and missing work ideas are fantastic!
If you don’t mind me asking, what was your major and concentration in college? I’m trying to choose right now and it’s soooo hard. Your combination of 6th grade ELA and Science is ideal but idk what to major in for that!!!
So I actually majored in early childhood ed and was only certified through 2nd grade! I took a praxis test to add on 3-6. I got hired as an ELA teacher for 6th grade, but this year they need more science teachers so I said I’d do both!

Hello Ms. Jess, may I ask for the soft copy of those posters you have?
Love the bag idea for observation and inferences. Did you find that on TPT? (:
What do you do with the Lucky Ducks?
Where did you get the huge whiteboard for your calendar? I love that!
Same ❤
What do you use the lucky ducks for?

You can take a test to get certified ❤
WHAT DISTRICT DO YOU WORK AT?????
Don’t ask this question. The answer concerns safety for the teacher and students. Why would you expect someone to share personal information?
