- David performs an acoustic version of Avalance and introduces some of the band.
Sorry for the random squeelers and the lady somewhere near me singing. I assure you, it was not me.
This was my first favorite track on David Cook The Record. Avalanche is beautiful. Hearing the acoustic version was such a special gift. Thank you David for putting Avalanche back on the set list!!!
David,
You have no idea how great an artist you are. This song, delivered like this, is beyond astounding. When you find your real groove, soon I think, the world will be at your feet. I wish you could have witnessed what happened at Allegan in the seats around me. It was truly a testament to your power. You shower more blessings on us than you can even imagine. Ramona
David thankyOu for yOut GIFT of Music....
OMG, thank you! I like it even more than before! He has to win a GRAMMY!!!!!!
I think the people that haven't seen him live ( or keep up with You Tube ) are disadvantaged and couldn't possibly know what his fans know- the extent of his talent is so overwhelmingly amazing and beautiful!!!!!
Hahaha..Someone's saying "I love you more!"."You're so hot"..Oh my Gosh!Truly represents how David made people love his music, this one is so amazing..
Thank you David for sharing your beautiful music.Hope you continue it..
Absolutely beautiful..I had goosebumps when I heard through the cellcast and know watching it..Thanks Renee for sharing..

Renee, thanks so much for capturing this on video. I died the first time when I had it on my private cellcast (thanks, Becky), but to see and hear it at the same time is just too awesome!!!
Thank you! I love this song acoustic
AMAZING!
I love that acoustic version!
Oh, Renee, so many thanks for this. Heartstopping performance, what must it have been like in that space with that voice filling the "atmpsphere". Just amazing how David made lemonade in Canada when Kyle had to leave. We knew he could make porkchops, but lemonade?
I hope David finally realizes that his voice is a gift, and that he's truly one of the greatest contemporary singers and vocalists (not always are the two the same) living today.
OMG this is GORGEOUS!
this is absolutely beautiful. thank you so much for posting. i'm in tears.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting! Beautiful.
Thank you this is gorgeous
Damnit I will hear this live just once!
Renee - thanks for capturing this acoustic Avalanche!
My favoritest song on his whole CD .. and beautifully done in acoustic!! Now, why couldn't he sing this while he was in the Pacific Northwest?? I'd of DIED. Right then.
I was so there!:) The crowd was amazing!:) First time at the metropolis.. hopefully not the last!
hope he records a studio version of the song!
Amazing..
David, I hope you are taking note of your fans comments on this wonderful acoustic performance, and will PLAY THIS GORGEOUS SONG MORE FREQUENTLY on tewer!!! (like, next Tuesday in Richmond, VA, maybeeeee??!?!?!?!)
Thanks Renee! So beautiful! I remember hearing the "you're hot" comment in the cellcast LOL.
@MyRecordingTV Avalanche is a song David co-wrote and it is on his self-titled platinum record. You can download it from iTunes or Amazon.
As the person who posted this said, if it weren't for the random vocalists in the crowd who thought they could sing-once they stopped screaming, this would have been another awesome work of art by David. I feel sorry for him trying to perform at his best when he has so many screaming idiots who call themselves fans. Fortunately he is very polite. I don't know how he did it myself.
I think my sister must have been in the audience (just kidding). She always harmonizes with the soloist, and I have to give her a sharp elbow in the side. Geez...I can hear her any day! I think I'm too old fashioned, because when I pay for a ticket, I listen raptly, and clap and hoot like crazy when the song is OVER. Sigh...I hope when I finally see him in person in Atlanta on Nov. 23, I can hear him, too. I know, I'm just dreaming.
love how excited u are ur friend are at the beginning. lol
what is it? i dunno....then OMG OMG i love this song..haha
i'll buy ur next cd :D
loud, rowdy crowd there...it's amazing to me that people don't seem to know when to quiet down and let a beautiful acoustic song be heard. Odd.
guh.
