    Looks like a great flashlight but nothing earth shattering other than the price 🙂. Great video.

    I’m a Milwaukee fanboi but the price tag on this one makes me want to go to HF for the Braun $20 special. I have the Braun 750 lm puck light and it’s awesome for $24. It’s a no for me, Milwaukee.

    This thing looks pretty sweet, and many of us have a Flashlight issue I fully accept my addiction. Thank you for a great video

    For this price tag is a definety a no-no. They don't offer anything more than competitor's lights for half the price. Oh, and they are adding a huge hump on the back of the light... Nope! Milwaukee you can do better!

    On your head where ever your eyes are your light is. In a totally dark room any little bit of light is a lot
    I don't see this being good for HVAC- R work

    I’ve gone through 4 or 5 pairs of Snap on neck lamps. The original pair(designed exclusively by EZ-Red). I’ve bought the updated versions of the Snap on neck lamps. Two issues. There are one button per lamp. Battery doesn’t last as long as the original design. The design flaw of the original was sweat would make its way down to the lamp itself and short it out. I like that the Milwaukee has one button to turn on both lamps. However the battery on the back is much larger than the original Snap on design. I’m hoping these will last over time.

    TBH I thought kobalts offering at $40was expensive.
    All for basically around the same specs too

    Great video. Thank you for your effort.
    PS. Milwaukee should offer the Neck Light in 6000-6500K color temperature as well.
    -------------------
    Osram has the same style neck light. It is very clever designed with detachable flashlights and it’s 3 times cheaper.

    I wonder how this compares to the new Unilite necklight (NL-350R) 🤔

    • @TheMattSturgeon
      @TheMattSturgeon Год назад +2

      Both use USB-C, the Unilite is much cheaper (at least here in the UK), brightness is similar, the Unilite doesn't have any battery pack (etc) on the rear...

    I went with the rechargeable Braun 290 lumen neck light from HF for $20, I've been using it at work for about 2 weeks now and fairly happy with it.

      @@WorkshopAddict For the price I paid, there's nothing I don't like about it, but I'd be willing to pay more to have longer battery life and a wireless/magnetic charger similar to Olight's.

    You’ve sold me ! I have a few headlamps , one being a Surefire . They are better on helmets , than on the “ bare “ head . I like the neck concept , if you wear button down collar work shirts , it might be pretty wearable . Testify Brother , in re: Flashlight addiction !

  • @mozezfreek777

    I’d take something like that with half the runtime, if it was just designed more compactly so I could fit it in a normal flashlight slot. Like the one I have in my skinth

    This flashlight is garbage once you put your hand in front of the item or car engine you're looking at there you get a shadow. You need a light that comes from a different direction so you can see what you're working on you know what I'm saying?

    • @WorkshopAddict
      @WorkshopAddict  Год назад +3

      Yes and no. This is a benefit of not having a light follow your eyes line of sight. Light placement is key. This is about comfort. If your hand os over an item, can you see it anyway? I know what you are saying, but IMHO, saying that without trying it is making assumptions.

  • @BackyardEngineer334

    Totally off topic question but my Milwaukee Rapid Charger’s indicator light isn’t turning green when the battery is fully charged, it’s staying constant red, do you think any damage could be occurring or overcharging???

    • @WorkshopAddict
      @WorkshopAddict  Год назад +2

      Google milwaukee e service and send it back. They will get you a new one.

  • @histguy101

    What's the benefit of a neck light vs a headlamp? I've been seeing these neck things all over in lots of brands. A headlamp follows where you look, and can tilt up and down. And Milwaukee headlamps are pretty good actually.
    Are the army rangers gonna trade in their headlamps and helmet lamps for a necklight? I doubt it, just sayin

    • @WorkshopAddict
      @WorkshopAddict  Год назад +2

      For outdoor use (Army Rangers Or Hunting and Hiking) Headlamps are all it! IMHO, for mechanics, not having a headlamp strapped to you is awesome and I get more dispersed light. It is a comfort factor to me.
