I'm a Rythm guy, never was much on Solo's except for my own, so this song is really fun to play for me, especially when you just wanna relax, or play a cool off song that's not to fast but still sounds killer!
linker94 for real. Maybe it’s because of the cleanliness of the environment around him, or maybe even the cleanliness of his playing. Shit maybe it’s the tone and the perfectly tuned guitar that does it, who knows? But anyway, I’m in the same boat with you brother, this shits so nice to watch
Thanks for this and your tutorial. I finally now can play a whole Metallica song all the way through, minus the solo but I can kinda fake it enough to keep going and get through the whole song thanks to your videos. You are phenomenal!
Been watching the other video with the tabs, but this one is so much easier for me because there's no stopping. After seeing the old one enough times I just use this one now, this is a great song, great cover and very helpful lesson. CHEERS,
Love it! Definitely one of my favorite songs to play, even if I can't touch the solo at all. Love even more that you left in the mistake near the end, it happens.
I can't believe they've been playing this album for 3 yrs already. Good cover. Something about the way you play Kirk's solo makes it easy for me to follow in my head. That's the first time that's happened. I will look at some more solo's and see if it does it. thanks.
Could it be the lack of wah. I came here from watching the Slane Castle show to learn this and it sounds to me like the wah clouds it up a little. Wah is fun, but I think that live version he went a bit more overboard than usual
@@tylercady3985 Kirk has that crybaby wah glued to the bottom of his boot...lol I think he does have it going in every song. But hey, if you were Kirk, and that wah pedal made you the kind of money that bands cant even make anymore, wouldnt you use the hell out of that baby? lol Kirk at rehearsal, "Hey guys, this song is missing something, oh I know. It needs more WAH Pedal.." (cowbell skit), " I dont know, but the last time I checked, we dont have a lot of songs that feature the Wah>>" lmao check out SNL skit "Needs more cowbell."
@@tylercady3985 Thats prolly why he uses the Wah, to cover any mistakes he makes live, remember he has to be Par with the legendary James Hetfield..lol James is my hero for real, that guy can jam some awesome riffs. I do think the last album could've been heavier. They were supposed to lead the Heavy Metal Genre, but Nope, Metallica had different ideas...lol still havent heard any updates on James/Rehab?
@@mdh2006 last I heard he had gotten out of rehab just before the pandemic started. And yeah James is easily one of, if not the best rhythm player there is
great sound, interested how did you created it? What i hear is a lot of compression and added harmonics, ok, the distortion? Is it pedal or plugin? Sounds like amp mesa rectifier in logic plus x.
The Skreamer in Guitar Rig is doing the whole compression and adding a bit of distortion boost. The main distortion and harmonics come from the Van51 (also in guitar rig)
Amazing as always!!! waiting for lesson. btw are you gonna make lesson for manunkind, confusion, here comes revenge and dream no more? i hope that u will!!
I was wondering if this song had any up strokes it looks like it's all down strokes on the guitar but there was a two notes that I thought sounded the same one was up and one was down
Nice cover ! how long you play dude? I start play guitar in march 2017 and now i can play this main riff but sometimes i do mistakes XD Maybe I gonna to be good like you or Fenderrocker ;)
I recently started to pick up my guitar a couple months ago and all I’ve been doing were finger exercises. Should I choose a song I like now and try to get it down? I just don’t want to practice the same song over and over and get bored. What does anyone recommend?
I never did any finger exercise when I was learning guitar, all I did was learning songs I loved, maybe at a slower speed in the beginning. So yeah definitely learn some songs! You practice a whole lot of different techniques by doing that
Depends. If one song is a bit too hard, slow it down and play it like this, then learn some other stuff and come back to it later, you'll be surprised how much you'll have improved ;)
Hey guys.. I just did a drum cover to this song, would mean a lot if you guys would check it out and let me know how it sounds! Metallica FTW! btw great cover!!
I'm a Rythm guy, never was much on Solo's except for my own, so this song is really fun to play for me, especially when you just wanna relax, or play a cool off song that's not to fast but still sounds killer!
James with these hooky, simple, but fun riffs. great cover!
You know for Metallica and Kirk Hammet, this song doesn't have a very difficult solo, it'll still take me awhile to learn tho lol
Agreed.
@Scott Hufford Honestly I thought it would be way harder lol
Don’t really need to write the hardest solo everytime. Sometimes pros want a fun break. Definitely some fun cool riffs in that solo
Try not to headbang challenge
Nyymi Nyyminen whoever passes is lame
Failed on the first second...
I couldn't even if i tried
god thats so satisfying to watch. so relaxing. good job

Love that little mini guitar with master of puppets on it!!
From 5:10 to 5:45 is like a cousin riff of the the outro riffing groove of The Outlaw Torn. Tasty asf!
Dude what amp and pickups did you use? Excellent tone
ye this is a good song......good cover....look forward to the lesson
Working on it!
Just watch the neck full screen it’s pretty self explanatory

One of my favorite songs on one of my favorite albums by one of my all time favorite bands. Great job on this man. You're a legend 👌🏻

Ta piosenka jest odjazdowa!.
Absolutely fucking awesome dude 👍🏻👍🏻
nice job man. the best cover on youtube so far!!!

Great tone and great playing!! Whats ur gear??
This song actually have two solos:
1.) Main by Kirk Hammett
and
2.) Breakdown's by James Hetfield!!
Really Great cover. I just noticed you skipped a G note in one of the main riffs

Sweet bro.!
You play it a little different in a couple of areas. Sounds awesome tho!
I was wondering if this song had any up strokes it looks like it's all down strokes on the guitar but there was a two notes that I thought sounded the same one was up and one was down

fucking master :D so good!!
Damn!!!!
Who are the 5 stupids that disliked this?
grafikko Maybe they wanted a vid without a backing track
people who doesn't know how to play guitar and doesn't like metallica I guess
Scott Hufford then they must be narcassistic af 😂
I disliked because he didn’t slide into some parts of the riffs and it sounds kinda robotic and soulless so I didn’t really like that
Que pedales de efectos utilizas?
In Eb tuning sounds heavier!
Bravo🎸🤘🤘🤘👌🇮🇹🌞
🤘🏻HERMETICA🇦🇷Y METALLICA🇺🇲SON LO MISMO🤘🏻

What amp do you use ?
I don't use real amps when I record, I get my sound just from guitar rig and from the plug ins in Cubase!
