So you can say some parts of it which were true in 15 years ago or in some undeveloped towns. But as we know that, most Americans or Foreigners are staying in very modern cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen. And the Truth is that, if you have ever visited these 3 cities, you will believe New York is a Third World Undeveloped City.
Nope i live in Beijing for years, it's still not as developped as NY... Shanghai is fine but thats' normal since it was developped by European. And Shenzhen indeed its pretty developped thanks to Hongkong and the the huge amount of poor workers living outside the city and the fact that the government hide away the beggars. Beside that Chinese lifestyle and mind for most of people is still kind of middle age style which make China amusing to live on for a while. Young generation from large cities are better educated with a western style so that give China a more modern standing.
I'm against eating dogs, but you should also be more humble, cause I mean unless you practice inedia, everything you consume has been once living creatures.

It is EQUALLY sad that we are doing exactly the same thing with chicken, fish, turkeys, pigs, and other animals. You should watch how an automatic chicken slaughter machine operates. It is astonishingly brutal, like a horror movie. You can even extend the same argument to vegetables and plants. Everything that's mentioned here is a lovable, cute, delicate, living creature.
