I'm so pleased that you enjoyed it as I know it's very different to my Scotland Series. I love the historical stories behind a lot of the National Trust properties.
Hi Daniella, so pleased to hear my video has inspired you to want to visit, it's always the best when I receive comments like this. You're very lucky to have the park so close by. If it helps to know, this was filmed last year on October 26th, and I believe the NT have an autumn watch too, to keep an eye on when the best colours are popping (or use Instagram too) I hope you really enjoy it! 🙏🍁🍂
@@WhenAdventureKnox ohhh any chance you know how to access the autumn watch? Another place you should try is Leonardslee gardens near Horsham, unfortunately it isn’t national trust but is so nice to visit and is near other national trust parks!
@@DaniellaPhilipa I may have got the wrong end of the stick as it must have been previous years when they've posted autumn watch updates as they have dates 'in the future' but this does give a generally good idea of approximately when is the prime time to visit: www.nationaltrust.org.uk/sheffield-park-and-garden/features/autumn-colours-at-sheffield-park- Otherwise I'd recommend keeping a close eye on Instagram :)
Hi Caroline, I really enjoy your videos, cause I'm really passionate about nature, wildlife, history and things like that. If it were up to me I would visit so many places in the world and for sure english countryside would be one of them and moreover the autumnal colours of this park are so stunning... Following your one-day trips from London I'm discovering places that I've never known or even heard before.. 🤩🤩
Hi Marco, like you I love nature and wildlife... and culture too. Hoping to start doing some more urban videos with a focus on culture too. I didn't grow up in London - it was the North East of England, so like you, only when I started to really research what there was to do near London, but not in London did I begin to discover all of these places. I'm so pleased you're continuing to enjoy my videos
This would have been a year ago yesterday. I've seen peoes photos of it on a National Trust application Facebook group and its definitely at its peak right now. You need to pre book though. Not sure if that's just for parking, but if it is there's a car park opposite the station and it's a quick walk across some sheep fields. If you make it this year, enjoy it as it really is stunning!
@@MentalManasulo oh yay, you have no idea how much this comment means. If the videos I share can help inspire even just 1 person to do these experiences for themselves then this makes me so happy. I'm smiling from ear to ear right now 😀
@@WhenAdventureKnox you certainly did and I subscribed as well :) I love taking long walks and am always on the lookout for new places, Well, I thought I have literally rounded all NT places but there is always something new to explore!
Have you been to Sheffield Park - how do you think it compares to some of the other gardens the National Trust has?
What a beautiful old estate. Thank you for the history and amazing nature views!

considering I live a 30 minute drive to Sheffield park I've never been, but now watching this video I've booked to go!
