As someone who works in the entertainment department i will say its been tough. nothing has been confirmed on what RWS is planning to do yet. there are rumors of more layoffs for other departments, but again that's a rumor, and not confirmed yet and may not happen at CA for a little while. thankfully CA law saved a lot of the performers unlike the sad news at Florida.
I have heard other rumors myself but I have only reported on the ones that I have multiple sources about or ones that have been double confirmed. I just hope whatever happens at the LEGOLAND parks, Florida, California and New York that they help out the Model Citizens who get laid off. California does have some more employee protections than other states but eventually the lay offs will occur, hopefully not too many though.
I really do hope that it's entertainers can stay financially supported but I can see how part costs can't get higher than they already are and also food costs are rising that's definitely something we cannot fix quickly and even if Trump promised it there's no way that he is smart enough to fix that without some external assistance
@@sky0kast0 unfortunately rising costs no matter how or where they come from, will happen. Its the nature of the beast unfortunately. I just hope that Legoland is smart to keep costs at minimal and help make the park more attractive both entertainment wise and financially wise for guests.
Much like other parks, LEGOLAND is definitely going under some “rebuilding” I’m really glad MINILAND Las Vegas is getting much needed attention since some of the real life resorts have imploded Also I was thinking that the underdeveloped space that used to be Knights’ Tournament would be a clone of Windsor’s Haunted House Dance Party but the Minecraft land could be a great idea
Indeed- Legoland is going through some changes both good and bad and hopefully at the end when this all done it turns out to be a good decision. Ultimately in favor for the guests of the park. I am not sure if Minecraft would even come to San Diego as it might go to Florida first but I am keeping my fingers crossed it comes here as it would mean big things for Legoland California.
i work at lego ca and new land is opening 2026. Staffing is a big problem here cause they always need workers. but the plot of land where knights torny used to sit is a big talking point for a new ride or land...
Thank you for the input. I figured the new land wont be until 2026 at the earliest. I do hope that even if Minecraft doesnt come to California that they do something with the empty plot of land for a ride or theater or something attractive.
It’s certainly sad to hear and see. I can see how they want to save $$ and be competitive but I think there are lots of other ways they can do that without doing massive layoffs. I just hope the new company coming in hires back all the MCs who want to come back so they can continue to perform and entertain.
Have you ever heard of Historic George Key Ranch in Placentia also you have heard of Heritage Hills Historic Park where Jose Serrano Adobe is in Lake Forest and Mile Square Park in Fountain Valley are you interested in doing the Historic George Key Ranch also let me know if you going to do Heritage Hills Historic Park and Mile Square Park video 🤔👍📲
I used to go when my kids were young but I never go now unless I use shopping pass to buy a lego kit. I would buy an annual pass if they added a train like Disney or Knotts I love trains but Lego land has no train except one for little ones. The only other thing I like is the displays. Maybe the space mountain type ride will make it worth going
Ya the train large enough for people probably would not happen as they don’t have the room nor structure ability to do so. Atleast not for a big one. But the new ride hopefully will be fun for adults aswell. I’m hoping it’s atleast to the same thrill level as Dragon Coaster.
Thank you for covering the mass lay off that’s taking over Lego’s entertainment department. It’s definitely affecting more than 100 employees, but hopefully brighter times are ahead
Thank you. Yes I am sure the true number will never be known but I hope for the employees and the company’s sake that they bring them back on in some capacity with the new entertainment management company. Entertainment at Legoland is truly one of the best things about and I want to see it grow and flourish and the entertainers that sing, dance and perform every day are what make it the best!
I dont think the minecraft land will be at legoland California, as I haven't here anything about it and the space project I have been hearing about since early 2023, and with space being delayed a least a year till alest sometime in 2026 because the space coaster has looked similar to how it did in this video since decmber 16th. FNB at legoland cuts costs wherever possible as it is a 3rd party mega corporation.
The Minecraft land was just a guess and I hope it will be in California. There is more land at Florida for it to happen there but I think it would fit very well where I said it could near Castle Hill. The Lego Galaxy land is def behind schedule but it needs to happen for the longevity of the park. They need to add “big kid” attractions not just for those 5 and under.
don’t get me wrong I would love the Minecraft land. It would be a great draw to the park and I hope it eventually comes but I don’t think California will be the first Legoland park to get it in the states. It would fit into castle hill but I don’t nessarly where you siad has enough space. They would most likely have to rework the president pathway to mainland if they put it there. They definitely need more higher thrill attractions.
That is probably the case. These will be all new and remodeled Ninjago rooms. I believe they will include elements of some of the newer seasons and characters of the show n
We had fun watching you make your video that day. You were very kind to my son when he came up and asked you about it. He had dreams of RUclips Diamondslayer432

For some reason for T-Rex man I just feels good to do like ragamon be a Lego based Digimon
It's not the worst thing. They usually just give their characters a "man or woman" after their costume, like Watermelon man etc.

My jaw is on the floor. I can’t believe they’re laying off basically the majority of in house performers and CCs to outsource it.

Yes i have heard of those. I will add them to my list of possibilities.

That doesn’t make any sense. Legoland California already has a Ninjago theme room. Are they just remodeling it?
That is probably the case. These will be all new and remodeled Ninjago rooms. I believe they will include elements of some of the newer seasons and characters of the show n
@ That’s exactly what I was thinking. Cause they already have them, but they’re probably remodeling them to look like the newer show.
