It's not the worst thing. They usually just give their characters a "man or woman" after their costume, like Watermelon man etc.

Thank you for the compliment! You both will have a great time! I have heard nothing but great things so far from the taxidermy class and it does seem so much fun. I want to do it myself one day if i ever get a chance. If you get the chance to go both days at the expo in Boston i would recommend you do, because I know the taxidermy class takes up the majority of one day so you wont have much time to walk around and check out the expo. But have fun and let me know how it was!

I have heard other rumors myself but I have only reported on the ones that I have multiple sources about or ones that have been double confirmed. I just hope whatever happens at the LEGOLAND parks, Florida, California and New York that they help out the Model Citizens who get laid off. California does have some more employee protections than other states but eventually the lay offs will occur, hopefully not too many though.

I really do hope that it's entertainers can stay financially supported but I can see how part costs can't get higher than they already are and also food costs are rising that's definitely something we cannot fix quickly and even if Trump promised it there's no way that he is smart enough to fix that without some external assistance

@@sky0kast0 unfortunately rising costs no matter how or where they come from, will happen. Its the nature of the beast unfortunately. I just hope that Legoland is smart to keep costs at minimal and help make the park more attractive both entertainment wise and financially wise for guests.

I’d have to pass on those. I don’t really support nor oppose rodeos and animal sport like that. So I’d rather not.

Ya the train large enough for people probably would not happen as they don’t have the room nor structure ability to do so. Atleast not for a big one. But the new ride hopefully will be fun for adults aswell. I’m hoping it’s atleast to the same thrill level as Dragon Coaster.

Thank you for the input. I figured the new land wont be until 2026 at the earliest. I do hope that even if Minecraft doesnt come to California that they do something with the empty plot of land for a ride or theater or something attractive.

Indeed- Legoland is going through some changes both good and bad and hopefully at the end when this all done it turns out to be a good decision. Ultimately in favor for the guests of the park. I am not sure if Minecraft would even come to San Diego as it might go to Florida first but I am keeping my fingers crossed it comes here as it would mean big things for Legoland California.

The Minecraft land was just a guess and I hope it will be in California. There is more land at Florida for it to happen there but I think it would fit very well where I said it could near Castle Hill. The Lego Galaxy land is def behind schedule but it needs to happen for the longevity of the park. They need to add “big kid” attractions not just for those 5 and under.

don’t get me wrong I would love the Minecraft land. It would be a great draw to the park and I hope it eventually comes but I don’t think California will be the first Legoland park to get it in the states. It would fit into castle hill but I don’t nessarly where you siad has enough space. They would most likely have to rework the president pathway to mainland if they put it there. They definitely need more higher thrill attractions.

Yes I am sure the true number will never be known but I hope for the employees and the company’s sake that they bring them back on in some capacity with the new entertainment management company. Entertainment at Legoland is truly one of the best things about and I want to see it grow and flourish and the entertainers that sing, dance and perform every day are what make it the best!

It’s certainly sad to hear and see. I can see how they want to save $$ and be competitive but I think there are lots of other ways they can do that without doing massive layoffs. I just hope the new company coming in hires back all the MCs who want to come back so they can continue to perform and entertain.

Unfortunately no. Disney in my opinion dropped the ball this year on characters and merchandise regarding the Snake. So the only special characters you can meet are Mushu, Mulan, Mei Lee, Ming Lee, and Goofy/Minnie/Mickey in special attire. They could have had an opportunity to have a snake puppet or something but nothing… I think Horace will be the special character next year for meet and greets.

It’s honestly my favorite festival when it comes to food! It just generally has the most array of good food and drink items where honestly nothing is bad. So I would highly recommend you go if you ever get a chance.

I agree in that I myself do not want to buy something that has been hunted nor would I ever do it myself. But part of the admittance to join the expo is the vendors must submit that their items are humanely acquired meaning they do not go out and purposely kill these animals from sport. Some taxidermy items are clearly old hunting trophies but those are from years gone.

Ya that price tag is quite shocking. I dont mind paying top dollar for a sandwich as long as I feel i am getting a lot of bang for my buck, but to get just 1 standard size chicken sandwich was outrageous.

Agreed. I feel bad for the eateries that occupy those spaces as I believe they will have a hard time sustaining themselves at those prices. I know they have to pay higher leases and are probably charging more to help with that. People may try once as a novelty, but it doesn’t seem like a place people would visit regularly.

You’re welcome and I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I would have to disagree that the expo is not just for the rich. Yes there are quite a few vendors that charge a pretty penny for the or items but it’s usually due to the rarity of the item, the amount of hours and labor it took to create, even just the cost of materials alone. There are a lot of vendors who have very low cost items from magnets and stickers to art prints and food items. This expo truly does have something for everyone as long as you can appreciate the odd and the bizarre anyone can enjoy this expo

@BigRedJourneys OMGOSH I couldn't imagine the hours they put in to master their art! I want to clarify something. When I said rich hot topics, I didn't mean cheap products. Maybe that was not the right word, BUT Hot Topics had some really cool things, but they were always expensive. After I finished your video, I just kept watching more of other people's videos, and I took notice of their being something for everyone! I can't remember if they were in your video, but I saw the weird taxidermy rabbits and the ducks. Those were freaking cool. The large taxidermy animals with the insides turned into strange scenes, blew me away. Every one of those people, including those who sell patches, deserve every bit they ask for! I would never devalue that. Oh shoot, the Toad Bags were freaking awesome! I would buy one for my sister for Christmas if I could. Rich people expo? Sure. lol But it's something everyone could enjoy. It would be cool to take 3rd graders on a field trip to see everything! lol lol I would had loved it. lol You video really is one of the more enjoyable ones I watched Sir! 😊 Thank You Again Sir! 😁

Yes I have heard about the Block but not sure if it’s worth covering for a video. But I plan to visit Wild Rivers this year and the Carlsbad Flower fields when they bloom.

It’s always a fun time going to these expos but it’s also dangerous because it’s also easy to deplete your wallet at one of these
