Nakoruru and Ukyo enter the Demon Portal and make their way through the Demon Path. They reach an exit and find themselves in a new land..Izumo.
The exit is in an active volcano; Mount Aso. Later, the pair come across demons planning to make the volcano erupt, causing fear and panic among the humans and gathering that energy for Mizuki's dark bells. At the same time, a mysterious stranger in white is watching the events as well and later leaves without saying a word.
The heroes eventually exit Mount Aso and travel to a nearby by town..Beppu.
