This series between Dark and herO has a lot of moments where both players make mistakes, but that's also exactly the reason why it's exciting to watch. The games get very messy, and both players have to try their hardest to play the right strategy.

Them meeting in 36 tourneys has me thinking of the old Looney Toons with Wily E. Coyote and the sheep dog meeting at the time clock then going against each other. 😂
I love to see Dark pulling the queens at least once every series against herO. Always such a mood drop when you see queens on your front door as protoss and you know that their attack is gonna have a smoother follow-up than your defense will.
You can't get tired of these 2 because they play the most entertaining games. Very few of the best pros look fun to watch. Only serral comes above these 2 for me
Its fun watching Lowko react to the Diamond/Masters level mistakes in this matchup, makes us all feel seen...and a lil less hard on myself knowing even hero rallies the first oracle to death
Dark vs herO is always a great example of playing well vs winning. Winning is more than just being statistically the best, especially when the two sides are so evenly matched. This series in particular though, is just chaos.

He lost the oracle because dark attacked his wall with the 4 lings and he was microing that defense instead, it looks like on the minimap. I wish you rewound the game so we could see but i get trying not to rewind while casting.
The initial redirect straight into the natural looks like an f2, but regardless its definetely negative micro.
I've been waiting forever for Microbial Shroud to be used properly, thank you Dark.
I really never undestood why microbial shroud is so underused. taking 50% less damage from air units just seem like a dope effect, i know that you need to recast if you move the army and everything, but 50% reduction just seem to good to be that overlooked.
I think what makes it bad is because it's a zerg ability.
Protoss have stalkers, and terran have thors.
Put those units under a microbial shroud and skytoss wouldn't be able to touch them.
Plus it's super useless against both Zerg and Terran (You gonna fight banshees, liberators with microbial should? Heck even battlecruisers can yamato your stuff)
But even in ZvP, the fact that the shroud is ground targeted basically means "fire all your disruptors and psionic storms at this location".
It's basically just anti-skytoss so that your queens can be immune while they tickle the enemy capital ships.
Those carriers are very scary units. One might call them... The Scarrier. ;)

You'd think the #1 Protoss in the world wouldn't have this kind of a reputation, but here we are.
Properly done, carriers are really the best bet if you have an upgrade lead and can hide them and then get 6 with 2-2-2 and surprise them. That last game is the best Protos strategy in my opinion.

I find it hard to understand how Hero can be so inconsistent, so incredibly good a lot of the time but with so many basic mistakes. I think that fire analogy by Lowko was just perfect.

Might only be me, but I prefer a Hero vs Dark over any Serral game every day of the week - they are just more entertaining

Yeah Dark and herO are the best ones to watch right now. They're sloppy but they're pretty good. I wonder if they iron out these small errors they could face Serral and Maru.

Lots of reverse sweeps on these games from Lowko lately.
Dark would have destroyed that carrier attack if only he used fungal on the interceptors specifically while using microbial shroud.
Gotta love how protoss losing one unit early one = instant loss.
Probably because it was three units, not one, and those three units were 1/8 of his entire army supply.

Should an infestor be 'revealed' while using Neural Parasite?
No infestors have hardly any hp. Its already hard enough to use nueral without your infestor dying before it does anything
@@Name-ru1kt a classic case of the pros making it look stronger/easier than it is. Not specifically this case but we have seen it before, where Neural Parasite used well is super good.

Would happen to Terrans but they have a handy dandy door that fixes that problem. As for zerg creep vision and fast units prevent this problem all together. It's not a protoss problem its a human problem, just toss doesn't get tools to remedy the problem.
@@cozmorules6983 you mean the door they have to raise and lower to move units? Kind of like a door that protoss has where they can hold position a unit they dont even have to move, or use a sentry forcefield?
And its a human problem in as much as the protosses that the community lost to koreas mandated military service never seemed to make these major mistakes, sure.

the Terran door doesn't move if you F2 A move. And yes, all races do all army hotkey just toss is punished for it moreso. @@mar_sh4617

Ah yes, why worry about golden armada if you can just make a few worms, cast a cloud and nearly win the game. Jesus Christ late game ZvP is so dumb... I think it's the least interesting and balanced match up currently in the game.
Although to be fair PvP is also crappy to watch. It also feels like Protoss players just don't micro as much. F2, a-move. Serral is so good mostly because he just has the ability to conduct 3-4 attacks at the same time. They are small attacks but Protoss players instead of assessing - "Oh yeah it's 10 zerglings, a few Stalkers will be enough" will just move their entire army through 3 Nexi to deal with a single small harrasing attack just to get attacked from another side. It's so frustrating to watch. Not that I'm any better obviously
